I was expecting Topper to jump in there.

I have noticed a few here this afternoon - some weird things that haven't happened to me before

So what do you have planned for the afternoon?

Do you think it is the site or individual problems. Sometimes when the battery goes flat on the keyboard strange things happen.

Hopefully have a bonfire and burn up the rubbish blown down by last week's storms. I don't think we will have much dinner tonight after all those chips! We seem to spend half our lives gardening or looking after animals. How about you?

I don't know if it's the site or what. I think it must be an overall site problem but it doesn't always happen to everyone at the same time. It shouldn't be my computer at work, cos there are no other problems with it, and it doesn't have a battery

Are you allowed to burn rubbish - I don't think we are allowed to anymore. I will be at work until 6pm today. It is quiet at the moment cos the boss is doing a long treatment & the phone isn't ringing

Maybe the site gets overloaded. I haven't a clue how these things work. Do the US members have more problems than us?

What sort of animal do you have. I have seen your photos on flickr & I seem to remember horses & dogs????? Sorry I can't remember specifically

What doe you do? A long treatment sounds interesting. Yes we can burn as much as we like between June 1 and Sept 30, and with a permit the months prior and after those months. We have ten acres here, less that half acre blocks can't have fires on.

It seems like we all have our problems from time to time, don't know if they have more than us or not. I think it does get overloaded, it got really frustrating when we had lots of pages on SA1 & the last to post comp

I work for a doctor

We take in unwanted animals. We work from home so it is easy to keep an eye on them. Yes we have horses, no dogs at the moment, birds and fish.

Hi girls. Major pooter problems all day here....not that I've been on all day!

Me too Lynda - nothing I did would get me back in & then when I got back I had to log back in too. I didn't read the paper, but I DID look at other things on the net other than here.

I think Rola is leaving when H comes home. They are taking their caravan to the coast. Not all that far but far enough away for some peace, solitude. It wasn't long ago they had the weekend up in the hills.

I was in the middle of replying to your question, Lynda, when I lost the site. My response said that I am on reception, but am an ex-nurse, soon to be nurse again (well in 5 months & if I pass)

Jenni, Rola and her hubby are taking their pop-top to a caravan park not to far from home I think.
But as she said no kids, no home, no chores! Just books and wine!

They were away on your June long weekend. It is nice to get away though, & the coast is always so nice & relaxing. Is your weather cold or mild at the moment?

Books & Wine (especially the latter) sound good to me

My co-ordinator seems to think we will have to speak very nicely to someone to allow me to do the clinical even if the papers haven't come through. Fingers crossed, that will work.

How can you be cheerful when all day you have to tend to people that are not at their best?
