Alexa, where is your family in Alabama, what city?? I am in the exact midddle of the state, if you draw an X through Alabama, it would cross within 10 miles of my house. Between Birmingham and Montgomery, not far from I 65. Do you know where Montevallo is??

Alexa, I learned to waterski, many years ago, on Lake Guntersville! Dad also took up to fish up there, just below the dam, where there was, back then, a public launch and picnic tables. I always loved going to Lake Guntersville! A really really small waord. Tuscaloosa is about an hour west of me, and I was watching that area carefully yesterday on the weather reports, they had tornado warnings and our weather comes from that direction!

All the quilts are my handywork except for the HUGE 911 Memorial quilt on my home page. That was a joint effort from a cyber quilt quild I belong to.

If you like quilting, there is a quilting sudokuists page, where we quilters tell about osme of our quilts and talk quilting occasionally.

I have knit and crocheted both, and do very well as long as it is not a garment to FIT. I made lots of little girl capes back inthe 70's and 80's. and many many baby blankets too! What do you knit and crochet?

Originally I am from Rutherfordton, NC, in the western piedmont. I attended Greensboro College and have been to Raleigh a few times, and that's as close as I've gotten to Louisberg.
I am proud of the achievements of our service men and women, and I pray that God will keep them safe until their mission is accomplished and they can return home to their families.
By the way, your husband is much better looking than Camel.

Alexa, I live in Bowie. I know Silver Spring quite well and have several friends who live there. The book I ordered was written by Diana Vandervoort so I'm glad to know you think it will be easy to follow!

Alexa, sorry Jer is injured and away from you at the same time! No wife to feth for him, and keep him off that swollen foot. Yes, it could have been worse, but having had a sprain, know that is bad enough, those things HURT and take as long to heal as a fracture! hope he is all mended soon! I will check back for further updates.
