I'll stay here with the other 3. We have a graduation party to go to.

About 4 years ago we went to a Red Robin. The food and service was good.

I didn't even eat dinner because I was still full!

We had only one graduation this year. Only 1 more to go until all the nieces and nephews are done.

I didn't eat lunch because I knew where we were going. I can only eat one big meal a day. Can remember when I could pack it away without a second thought.

Congrats for TOPPS.

Hello to anyone who is about. It is 1:30 a.m. here, and we just got home from picking up D#2 at the airport.

How was her flight and is she well?

Her flight was late and hot, and she has a migraine. (She probably has one 5 out of 7 days, and says she's tired of feeling this way. I don't blame her! I used to get migraines, but rarely do any more. Maybe I grew out of them?) And now, I feel a need for sleep! Good night, Gail! I hope you have a good dinner and pleasant evening!

Hi Gail, if you're still there. Cooked the chicken dish last night & it gets the . I even enjoyed the left over rice for lunch today, with a piece of the cold chicken.

The only thing I would do differently next time is to add some garlic & ginger to the chicken sauce & to marinate it a bit longer. Also I think my 5 spice was possibly a bit stale (I think I've had it in my cupboard for over 10 years)

Fantastic Jenni, I'm pleased you liked it. Great suggestions. I snaffled the leftovers for brekkie before anyone was up! Mind you, there weren't many.
I have never been a great lover of 5-spice but it was noicely subtle in this.

Speaking of dinner, I'd better go poke the microwave again because I forgot to take the meat out earlier! Tonight's dinner: Lamb Ragout

It's turn to cook tonight, since he wants me to go to the shop to get him some fruit. I said if I was going to go to the shop just to get fruit, he would have to cook, ha ha, & it worked

Good morning! Beautiful day here! After the violent T storms last night the humidity has broken.

The sunset last night was absolutely gorgeous. I was driving though so I couldn't get a picture.

Anyone around this morning/night? I have alot of work to do anyway. Must get to it. I'll check back later!

I'm just leaving a quick note. I have looked again on Nal's page and am very sad to say I think the message is indicating that Rocko has passed away today.

Gail, many thanks for letting us know. I shall go and pay my respects now.

Very sad news for Nal. I've never had a pet but I imagine losing a pet is like losing a member of your family.

I'm sorry for Nal, too. It is hard when they go.

When my 17-year-old Boykin Spaniel got to the point that her hips wouldn't let her get up anymore, I drove her the 30 miles to the vet to have her put to sleep. The vet was in the hospital and wouldn't be in his office for an undetermined period of time. The next afternoon after school I had to go through it all over again, driving to a different vet, 40 miles away.

Did everyone leave?
