Becky, the storm that took out our power was quick and fierce and it caused flash floods. In the Catskills, alot of the creeks quickly turned into raging rivers. Up here it wasn't as bad but you can still see the evidence of it with branches and leaves everywhere.

Julie, I drive my hubby nuts. As soon as I walk into the room, the tv comes on. A lot of times I walk right back out.

That sounds like quite a storm! We could use some rain, but perhaps not that much or that quickly.

Gail, had a lovely time on Thursday, Rola knows all the gossip!!! We ended up with Black Forest Torte in front of a log fire, very comfortable. I now know a lot more about folks on here!!!!

Becky, that's the very reason I started spending so much time on the computer. Even if I was watching something, when he walked in, he had the remote in hand, and started flipping channels and choosing something else. Now, since I tend to stay away from the TV most of the time, he often goes to the computer or the basement to work on a project.

Lynda, knowing about us could be good or bad. Maybe I should lay low for awhile.

Julie, I control the remote and vcr. He refuses to learn how to operate them. He said he has enough stuff to remember.

Hubby does the same thing re the tv. It must be a guy thing!! lol I had to set up a schedule for us because it was driving me crazy. He can pick whatever he wants MWF and I get STT. Of course, now that I'm on the pooter, it doesn't matter much!

We pretty well demolished the Black Forest, what was left husband and I soon finished up. What photo did you see?

Stella, we have a lot of the same likes when it comes to programs. The only thing he won't watch with me is Most Haunted.
