Max had just gotten out of shower after tryouts and had his message ready for me to tell him when. As you can see I thought there was two more to go. Now two younger ones are off watching a bit of tv before bed.

Stella, that is a quilt pattern! It is called Day Star and I forget who designed it, but I wish I had made one of those!

I do play with quilt design software, though, but do not have the latest and greatest, so not always my choice of fabrics swatches on programs to work with.

MAMA, I am not starting any big projects now, I have had a problem with my hands, and old Author. it keeps me from sewing , and especially from cutting with rotary cutter.

Oh How I can relate to that...I'm sorry some of your creativeness has had to be put on hold due to painful hands...that's such a drag!

Mama, most quilters have to much of their own to do to make someone else quilt hehehe. heck, a quilter cannot even give away NICE works in progress usually. You have to be a famous designer getting paid to design to afford to pay someone to sew your designs.

the other quilts I designed for my group, well, I did not get to KEEP THEM hehehe

I happened to be cruising around a bookstore the other day and ran across a book on quilting which specialized in quilt designs that were optical illusions. The title was OPTICAL ILLUSIONS QUILT DESIGNS, by Sharon Cerny Ogden. Anybody ever heard of it?

Wow...a 40 minute breakdown...my comment just went into cyberland and the site was out of reach...looks like all of us suffered the same fate. Think I'll leaveand do a little reading myself. Goodnight ladies if you return. I'll try and catch up with you later.

Tossed from the site unceremoniously, could not get on with either browser, and got a 504 error code. After about 20 minutes, I gave up and left. mama, I sent e-mail to you, but guess you did not think to check mail to see if we got booted also.

Topper, nope, have never heard of that quilt book, but there are so many books out there, I am not surprised. Interested in optical illusions? things that are not as they seem?
