Gail, what does it matter? Why is ''topper'' any different from ''Thud'' or ''firebloss'' or ''mamacita?'' Are those their names? The labels are meaningless. Go by your desire (or not) to converse, based on past posts.

Sorry to say Gail, but I actually agree with Topper. It would be nice to know who we are speaking to but there are alot of people who don't use their real name. There are probably more with pseudonyms than without. Even those with ''real'' names may not necessarily be their real name. And Topper could actually sign up as a free member, put pictures up and everything, and still use a real name elsewhere. I think the frustration comes when people put fake names up just to annoy or create controversy. Maybe someday Topper will feel comfortable with us enough to let us know his real name, even if it is just amongst those on this page.

Hi ...just a quick return to thank you Gail for putting Ian in his 'pedantic ' place, and for inviting topper to be a little more forthcoming about his/her identity..altho Stella provides a great argument for his/her remaining just Topper...I can go along with that...there is an ID..its not troublesome, and I'm glad to see interaction...no problems for me, and other than knowing how to get a top...he/she is welcome as far as I'm concerned! See you later...must start the movies...

Very well thanks Becky, it is a wet and miserable day here in Perth, not really a day to get one inspired to do great things!

We finally got a little rain last night. Today was sunny and not as hot as last week. We are supposed to get more tonight.

I just lost the page! I have got to join in again. Are you in need of rain in Ohio? Some parts of the US are pretty dry and desperately need rain, bit like Australia. Does it get really hot there?
