Yep, it has been quite. I have been bouncing around the site for a while. I check in occasionally but seem to miss everyone.

maybe I will go and try to sew a bit, I did not get my 15 min of sewing done yesterday, too much going on.

I have some sewing I need to do, need to make some dog beds for the pup, who we have decided to call Calliope or Callie for short

Brenda, Callie is a cute name! I like that, Looks like I got about 20 minutes of sewing today, yeah! I am making scrub suit tops for Al. One this week, kused to make one in about 2 hours, things do change.

what fabric will you use for the dog beds? Do you give a new pup a toy? A baby? Here we have a commercial showing dogs carrying their toy, always cute. I made 'babies' for the kittens I gave away, so they had a sibling substitute to snuggle and wrestle with them.

MizT, We took a toy duck (fur fabric) up with us today and have left Callie that. I know that her parents and siblings will be able to use it too but that will give her something familiar to have when we bring her home. I have some nice thick cotton/sateen material, and some wadding I had bought for patchwork quilt and have made two dog beds...one to use while one is in the wash.

Good evening all! Just finished a late pizza dinner. Hubby went grocery shopping after work because he won't be here on Saturday(when he usually goes). Brendan and he are leaving for North Carolina around 4am for the soccer tournament. I had very bad allergies at lunch and took allergy medicine which knocked me out. Still feeling drowsy. I see Max has been entertaining himself on the page while I rested!

It's been very quiet here the last 24 hours. I wonder where everyone has been.

D#1 is on her way home from Cape Cod. She was supposed to leave at 4pm but called at 5:20 saying she was just leaving but had to find a gas station first. I haven't heard anything since so I hope all is going well. I know it is hard to find your way in the dark. Hubby is packing up for the trip to NC.

Tomorrow night the two younger ones want to go to Barnes & Noble for the Harry Potter unvailing. If we end up going, I'll go across the street at midnight to Walmart to pick up the book.

Hi, Stella! I hope D#1 filled the gas tank and is on her way. Is she driving all the way - or just to LI, like on the way there? We saw HP at an IMAX theater last night. Hubby saws it's the only way to see Harry from now on. I'm rereading book 6 - almost 300 pages so far today - in anticipation of the final installment this weekend. I'm not sure if I'll be at the bookstore for the unveiling - may wait until during the day.

Our HP release is 9am tomorrow..remind me to avoid the shops then!
