That'll teach me for trying to post and catch up. Thanks for hanging around for those extra minutes MizT but you go off to bed now and sleep tight.

I am multi-tasking. Trying to some research, while keeping my eye on what's happening here, while also answering the phone as I am at work

I'm well thank you Jenni. A little tired but only because I've sort of left everything up till today when I had a couple of hubby-free hours!

Catching up with mountains of STUFF! H has been home all week and hasn't been able to do much but watch dvds in the lounge. So, on top off an accumulation of dross around him that I haven't been able to tidy due to him being there and all, last w/end, he tidied the pooter room...into the lounge! So...while he was out for a coupla this morn,I set to and cleaned like a woman possessed!

As per usual during the day, I cant stay long. There's still piles of sorting of random paperwork and then the darlings to pick up from school. That's when I plant myself here and take root. I hide in here so they can't find me!

I would have thought that they'd worked out where to find you by now Gail???? I feel for you with all the work you have to do. My house has a rather neglected look about it at the moment, & I think it's only going to get worse. Poor H, I don't think he knew what he was getting himself into

Anyone who visits is more than use to seeing a laundry house in the main living room where the woodheater goes all winter. Luckily, my clothesline in under the verandah which runs along the back of my house so I can hang clothes anytime (lucky me) but they still need to air and have the CHIIILL taken off them and it is the warmest room in the house. Why would I want to fold and sort anywhere else?

We like the lived-in style of decor! Don't want to be in a 'House & Garden' showcase. As I have said in the past, we blame the on-going renovations for the mess. The problem being, of course, that we haven't started any renos yet!

I'm terribly sorry,Jenni, I have to go again. Haven't even looked at my page yet but I'll do that this afternoon. If I don't go do stuff now, I'll have to lump around the guilt along with the washing! Been fab to catch up with you. Please, please, please look after yourself. If you have a wee glass of something tonight, think of me cos tonight I shall toast to your future success. Don't even think about the dreaded H-word, it'll still be there waiting for you at the end of your course!!!

I'm dreaming about considering renos Jenni. Had a guy come quote to paint the inside, and well, when we couldn't decide which child to put onto ebay for the money he wanted, we had to re-assess our dreams!

Darlingest D#1 just messaged that she would get the other two from school. I love her sooo much. Now I just may get the wash all dealt with before the onslaught. Well, at least I would, if I get off this seat!
Overcast with threatening thunderstorms here Jenni. This morning was a definite batten down the hatches day but its not so windy now. Possibly the calm before the storm.

I looove bubbly. Hubby popped into work this morning and said that I have to go to the bottlo to get a bottle of Chandon. Only spesh occasions of course. We have a tradition of celebrating every hundredth order that goes out and he said we're up to 1800. Woohoo, living high off the hog tonight!

I know what you mean about painting Gail - very, VERY exxie. I'm lucky enough to have a H who loves doing stuff like that. He repainted the inside of our house the year before last, & did a good job. I wish I could loan him to you for awhile

Bye Jenni, this I mean it for real! I must go unfortunately. The cleaning fairies went on strike due to the volume of work expected for no wages!
Housework-thankless job, isn't it?

Excellent, Gail, I'm envious (of the bubbly that is). Is that the Moet variety of Chandon or the Domain variety (that is a local bubbly for you isn't it?)

This is not me answering you...again! When I went back to Adelaide for a visit in April, I seriously offered to pay for my friend's husband to come over on a paid working holiday but he couldn't fit it into his schedule. Was going to do it myself when I left work but well, due to this and that, it didn't eventuate.

Tee Hee Gail - GO girl.

By the way, I don't do painting myself, H likes it so much he won't let me touch it, & I can tell you, I don't complain about that at all.
NOW, go will you

Local of course. We save the French for BIG things like annis, b/days and Xmas. Must be honest though, I prefer Domain to Moet! What a snob I am. I like Veuve but really don't see the need to pay a kings randsom on posh champers when there is lots of good local bubbles on the market..

ps Yes, Domain is about a 45 minute drive from here, in the Yarra Valley. We have gone there, the grounds are exactly what you imagine they should be like. Superb. Thay have an extensive viewing area that takes you through the whole bottling process.
