I've never tried to use Google Earth for anything but cities and towns. It's been a snap. Play around with it some. That's how you learn.

I will have a go once I get some free time

I've had dogs all my life until now. Three years ago my two Boykin Spaniles, mother and daughter, ages 17 and 14, died within months of each other. I'm being too picky about replacing them. I should have done so straight away. Now I'm probably going to move soon, so I'll wait until I do that. The idea of adopting from a shelter has begun to appeal to me. The shelter in the town where I will be living sends many dogs to a prison dog traning program, and they come out with canine good citizens awards.

Where abouts are you from Ruby?

I'm originally from Rutherfordton, N.C. You can practice on GE with it.

J didn't think I would replace my sheltie, but we looked after a 10 month old spaniel for a friend of my daughter. We realised that we really missed having a dog around. We decided to go for a different breed so we couldn't compare it with Lady.

My eldest is (at home) 23 and youhgest is 16 We have a large extended family of children and step children. Both me and my husband have been married before to people who had been married before. (Both our first spouses died)

I am originally from Newcastle on Tyne in the north east of England.

Remember that you are just a few hours from London in a densely populated country. Of course Rutherfordton and Ruby look small. (Of course, they are small.)

Wow Ruby is very small, do you kow everyone in the town?

I am rather closer to London than a few hours, by train we can be in the centre of London in 20 minutes.

Because I'm not from here, no, I don't know everyone in town. If I were from here, I'd probably be related to all of them. Your family sounds like it could populate Ruby.

I hate going into London so only go when I have to. Last time I actually went into London for 'pleasure' was 6 years ago. though I have been in on business a couple of times since then.

No Mary it hasn't been easy having the extended family. some of the kids have caused problems in the past but things are good now.
