BECKY, yes she did keep me busy. but we had fun, too. Having the " guest cottage" in thedome was nice, each of us could be awake during the night and rambling about and not disturbe the other.

Got everything set to go for Sunday. I hope I haven't forgotten anything.

Today we put a label on a 23 year old quilt , her grandmother made for her. Then we packed it and some things she had bought or was given while here and took them to UPS to mail home.

Becky refresh my memory, what is happening sunday? I cannot keep up with what I am doing sunday, so no hope for remembering what you are doing.

I have a quilt my mom made for me. It needs to be repaired and is stored away until I have the time/idea on how to go about it.

RENA, I did get your video to work. Al wants toknow, how did you teach your hummers to SHARE? Ours will dive bomb any other hummer anywhere around our feeders.

Family reunion. I'm taking brats, burgers and dogs. Since I'm the furtherest one away, we decided it would be easier to haul the meat than a covered dish.

Becky, what is wrong with the quilt? I had daughters quilt so long because she left it with me when she moved to CA for repair, it had just come unstiched in several places.

yes, you can tke the meat in a cooler, and that will work nicely. How far a trip to the family reunion?

Rena, are you having chilly weather already? When do you usually get your first snow?

When I had it cleaned the last time, a couple of squares seperated. The stitching is in place. It looks like some of the material is falling apart. Was thinking about ironing repair tape under the squares.

My hummies aren't always so polite to each other. In fact, they can be downright vicious.

She lives 100 miles away.

It has gotten colder here. It has been rainy the past few days. I had to light the fire yesterday morning and it has been going since. We get snow around the end of Nov, beginning of Dec.

Rena, we had cooler weather last week. Today it got up to 89.

today was cloudy and breezy here. there is a storm in the gulf trying to decide if it wants to be a hurricane or not. We got some sprinkles and lots of grey weather from it and a touch of cool, too.

We won't get that warm again. Fall is here to stay. I noticed on the way home this afternoon the trees are starting to turn colour.

No fires lit here yet, in fact still using AC in the middle of the day. Rena, when you say light the fire, do you have a fireplace or woodburning stove??

I am nodding off here, I think I must go to my recliner, or perhaps to bed. It is early but who cares? Hubby will be late comming in, he forgets time when he is working on a computer.

Good evening all! Just back from a long day! Went to Boston and saw D#2 play soccer. They lost their first game. Maybe I brought them bad luck. Got home at 6:50 pm and D#2 found out that her best friends wanted to go to the homecoming varsity soccer game but didn't have rides. So we picked them all up and went to the game. We saw a lot of people and, reminiscent of last year when Brendan played, the other team started a fight and the game ended 7 minutes early. A good time was had by all! Now I think I am overtired!

Sorry to leave such good company, and so glad we got some posts on th epage, and turned over a new leaf.

Very warm here this evening compared to what it's been. I didn't even need a cardigan at the game. This may our last warm weekend as Fall officially begins.

That's ok Becky. That happened to me the other day on Easy. Maybe I'll have a little wine to relax. I usually don't drink anything this late at night but I want to be able to sleep. Did I tell you Rena that I liked your video? I've never heard that song before though.

Rena, I enjoyed it also. It must have taken some time to put it together.

Glad you liked it Stella. I don't think it was a big hit on the radio, but it is one I really like.
