Sounds like a good way to spend a day, especially if there is no housework involved.

Haven't really been able to catch up on the reading of late nor have I been able to stay to chat but just wanted to pop in and say to you all. The site has been unavailable to many at apparently various times of the day. For me it was from about 3.30pm when I logged on till about 8 this evening SST.

Maybe I'm a bit early. All is well in Ruby. It's foggy this morning, and I can hear the pop, pop, pop of dove hunters' shotguns in the fields.

Good morning all! About twenty degrees warmer this morning! D#2 is sleeping in. (She doesn't get to do that at school on Saturdays because they have 1/2 day of school.) Made a pattern for the mermaid costume. Will try it on D#2 to see if it is even close to being the right size. How come it seems that the stuff never gets done? Need to get back to the stuff and then some apple picking later on this morning. Have a great day/night!

Greetings Sudokuland. Daughter is on the plane returning to California. We had a most enjoyable visit. I think she liked the guest house. I know it was easier for me, we did not disturbe each other with our night time ramblings.

Today is lovely, breezy, not too hot, but a bit humid, that tropical storm sort of messed up my nice fall weather.

Sorry i could not stay awake to play last night, I was really tired.

Good afternoon! Gorgeous day today although I decided not to go out and enjoy it. Hubby and S#2 went apple picking and I am helping D#2 with her art project. But just knowing that it is beautiful outside makes me happy!

Hi everyone! Another beautiful day here! Hubby has taken D#2 back to school. It will be about 5 1/2 hour round trip if there is no traffic. Since the weather is so nice on this first day of Fall, I think there will be a lot of traffic.

Perth is very windy and gloomy. Supposed to have thunder and hail, haven't had that yet, something to look forward to! We are expecting good weather at the end of the week.

Right now Australia is in the grip of Federal and Local government elections. So much rubbish is being printed and on TV! Do you get lots of hype over there at election time?

I've had a really good day. I fired my yard man two weeks ago, and he came back today wanting his job back. Not only did I not rehire him, I got him to return the tools he had stolen. It felt great.

I can understand that. But who is doing the work? Have you got someone else?
