It is turning cold here again, we might have another frost tonight. and a chill wind is blowing. Might get me in the moode for the thanksgiving, been to hot to be Thanksgiving.

It has been cold here today, I didn't notice when I was taking the dog for a walk this morning, but when I went out to go to y youngest daughter's parents evening at school the temperature was 5F. I have just picked her up from a party and it is now 1F.Very chilly

The weather forecast is a bit bleak for the weekend cold and wet.

OHHHH, colder than here, I shall not complaine! but after high 70's yesterday, a low of 30 tonight seems a little chill.

Just HOW can you not notice a temp of 5*F? My teeth would be chattering!

my #2 son has his last Uni exam today, his first year at Uni has gone past very quickly!!

Hi Rolanda, I'm well. At work and the boss is away today so have some free time.
Yeah the year flies by doesn't it? My semester at Uni seemed to really fly.

Chef is well, getting busy at work and having to do extra shifts as it gets towards Xmas. Mind you that will help to keep me, since my new job doesn't start till February and I don't feel like working too much till then

Son #1 is going to Sydney for a couple of weeks over Christmas with his friend and family, on Christmas Day he will be spending it with my cousin and family.

Things are sorta up and down, but okay. How is everybody? Sorry I've been away for so long, but I really haven't, just haven't been able to hook up with anyone. Don't see anyone on site, so I go to other things for a while.

okay with #1 not being here, specially that I know he will be family on Christmas Day. If my hubby and mine plans had gone ahead, we would have been in Scotland for 3 weeks over Christmas celebrating our 25th wed. Annv. (Jan 08), unfortunately we had to postponed it for another year.

Oh, Rolanda, I'm so sorry. That sounds like such a wonderful trip I hope you really do go next year and don't postpone it. Have you had to previously postpone it?

Cyndi, sometimes it is hard to hook up with other people here, but don't worry, I haven't been posting here regularlyfor a few months.
Rolanda, that's bad luck about Scotland. Do you have other plans for the celebration?

we had a friend from Scotland come and visit the family Easter last year (06), it was then we decided to visit her and family in Scotland for our 25th.
so the big savings plan went into action.. the business made a good profit (05/06), so did the tax man - eating into the savings.. putting our plans on hold (last Easter 07) for another year.

well!! we were talking about that the other day.. plans for the 25th.. thinking about going on the 'Spirt of the West' Train. Spirit of the West is Perth’s own fine dining Restaurant Train, come and enjoy our famous 5 course meal prepared fresh on board including fine wine and an ever-changing view through he scenic Avon Valley

to the tax man It's something to look forward to for the future then Rolanda. Will you do something else for your anni? We are having our 20th in Feb and I have booked a really swish place at the coast for two nights. The type of place with just a few rooms, a top restaurant, and a relaxation centre (I can't think what you call it, but they do massages etc)
