Hi eaa, you always did know how to get the topp. For the record, if anyone cares for a topp list, they can do it. I have NO intention of keeping track. I am not going to try for topp's nor am I going to avoid topp's. I set the record for no topp's on SA8.

When the Arab mare arrived, she and Sadie started calling to each other. As soon as I let the Arab out into the pasture, the 2 of them ran to each other and started nuzzling and nickering to each other. They ignored all the other horses.... they just wanted to be together. It was very obvious that they knew each other well. They both came from the same area. Sadie's mother was a Grey Arabian. The ages are right for them to be mother and daughter, and there is a strong resemblance between the 2 of them. To me it's a sure bet that mother and daughter have re-united. I have no intention to separate them.

I always find it funny when people ask why I call this place Surreal Farm. After this episode, I think it's self explanatory.

Heisi that is going to be one of my favourite 'feel good' stories for the year. I am so glad you have no intention of separating them. They deserve to be together again. What an amazing twist of fate.
I need a wee nana nap before I get back into the boring stuff...
catch you all later.

Hi all --- well I kept notes for my comments as I was reading so here goes...
Bit of good advice everyone it is a good time to buy shares in Arnotts biscuits--- now that Vici has found Tim Tams, gonna let them know to up production haha.....
Heidi -- I have already cried a couple of times today, and reading about the mother and daughter reunited is just beautiful, happy tears everyone.
June + Vici we crumble up a Peppermint crisp to top our pavs, and have also used kiwi fruit.
Suzy --- You made me cry aswell, that poor girl, makes me feel sick that this happens, I do hope she gets the help she needs.

As my choice of Telly viewing was Golf or cricket I thought I would put on a documentary that my sil loaned me, for while I was recovering, all about the Tsunami,
Twas very graphic and oh so terribly sad,
cried buckets, then start reading in here the sad story Suzy told, and then the heart warming Mum and daughter reuniting from Heidi,

I'm still not awake yet - I think I've signed onto a Dutchie chat site!
Rolanda - you be sure to get some sleep - glad mum had some breakfast and seems to be better this morning.
...and Lizzie - you are in FINE form!
Suzy - so happy for Pride - loved the video of them at the mall on FB. Very sad story about the new girl at school. I agree with Heidi - she is sending out a big cry for help, poor thing.

June - thanks for the suggestion of Lemon icing.
I know what passionfruit is, but would have needed a recipe to make the icing as we don't have the like in our stores (that I know of)...maybe in Hawaii!

Tim Tams, drool, slobber....

Vici, I love having the videos of Ally and the girls singing and seeing how they have changed over time. They really don't do them justice compared to the real thing, but I love having them.

Last night was the Lions Club chrissie party. None of us really wanted to go as we are all super tired, but I knew we would have a good time once we got there, and we did. The Pride girls danced their legs off instead of instead of singing and they were all smiles.

I was put next to our Federal Member... I promised her I wouldn't talk politics and we didn't. We mostly talked about kids! She has 2 my age...

Hello all.
Another 3 pages to catch up on this morning so forgive me if l forget stuff.
Oh Lizzy...aren't you a sweetheart calling in to see Catarina and then crying. You have a special bond there. How are you feeling now?Good.we hope.

Julie...sounds like you haven't had an easy time recovering from getting your knees done.It is such a major op and for some it takes ages to get over.Having both done at once, you wont have to go through that again...for a long time anyway.Lovely to see you posting again.

Heidi...a nice feel good post about the Mother/Daughter horses reunited. And even if they aren't,they must have known each other.Puts a smile on your face to think of them.

June...many hugs to your friend starting rad.and to you enduring it with her.Tough time for you all and we will be thinking and praying for her on the 17th.

Rolanda and Mum.....sounds like you are all coping well except for a lack of sleep.Judy is still very tired too,but sitting around not able to lift anything, hang out washing etc doen't make it busy enough to stay wake.Sleep probably heals the body too.

Vici...oh no,you shouldn't have looked for TimTams,big mistake,and to find Penguins,just as bad hehehe

Well, the cold weather is creeping in up north, and the hot weather down here.I'm not getting anywhere with christmas shopping.
Had Judy with me for 2 days, having a bbq to catch up with all the kids and Grandies for lunch today.
Josh is back in hospital on an IV drip of antibiotics. He was only home 1 day before going back in.Seems they let him home with a temp.he could hardly walk....grrrrrr
We all have these rough patches in our lives and with lots of other little trials,it must be my turn.I'm glad to talk here,I can now go on my merry way now feeling a bit is off my chest.Love you all.

I know what you mean about Xmas shopping too. I am going to have to make a list or I'll be out on chrissie eve, which is a definite no no...

Hi Suzy...the pix of Pride were lovely.Glad they had a good night enjoying themselves without having to supply the entertainment.

Forgot to tell you that I was ready and just about to leave for the Dr appointment Thurs, when the Dr rang me(yes,I couldn't believe it)to say she wouldn't be at the surgery that day and would I make another appointment. Now I go next Thursday.
The rash on my tummy has almost gone so it worked out well.

Nola - looks like you healed yourself! Now if your family can follow suit!
Suzy - I, too, loved the pictures. Looks like the Lions Christmas party was a blast for everyone. Ally and her friends are quite the hams ...and I don't mean porky! It was so fun to see all those "clowning around" shots.
Suzanne - yep - Northern CA (It's actually a very large and diverse state - ha-ha!) - and in the mountains, too. I love the cold. We moved up to the mountains from Monterey just for the winter weather! Hope to see a picture of Doc posted soon - happy reunion!

Nola, great news about your rash and your doctor cooperating so nicely together.

Warning: Family story
One of Ally's teachers yesterday said Ally really should go to the awards night because our local member was going to be there. Ally thought, "So, I sang for her last night", but didn't say it. That was at the International Day of People with Disabilities thingy.

Heidi and Suzanne, it is 81 here (27.22 celsius) here. Not that I want to rub it in at all.
The TimTams in the United States are made by Pepperidge Farms. It says on the package "Australia's favorite cookie." I have already had one box and they are good. I don't want to buy anymore.
