Hello lovely SA8 people - had a busy weekend so have spent the last hour or so catching up on 10 pages - now I can't remember what I wanted to say.

I thought I'd share a very depressing (for me) experience. Ebob's new camera, chrissie present, has a smile function - when set it will only take a photo when it detects a smile. It won't recognise my smiles!!!! I know my smile is a bit wonky (again an accident side effect) but I didn't think it was that bad...

Glad you took that TOPP from Heidi. SA 7 she didn't want any. On SA 8, she is trying to take them all.

I have the original Hitchhikers series on VHS, and the books. I need to get the one that came first... the Radio show.

I only have the books. It's my theory that the book is always better. Though, to put a whole in my own argument, the War of the Worlds is a fantastic radio play...

Suzy.... how can it take pictures of animals or landscapes, or inanimate objects? Or does it just deny their existence?

Susan - thanks for posting the flood photos. I have never been flooded in my own home but remember clearly the big Brisbane flood of 1974 and the clean-up afterwards. I can still recall the smell of the flood that permeated everything that had been under it.

The whole thing was created on the fly for a radio show. The books were based on that. I've heard the show.... it's probably the best of them all.

Broni, I also hate needles which is kind of funny. My temple was having a blood drive today so I went to donate. I told the he would have to cover my arm because I can't stand the sight of needles in me.

Just scanning back over the comments to make sure I didn't miss anything and noticed that I seem to like adding extra letters to words, hmmmm. Do you think its wanting to sound smarter than I actually am by using bigger words?

It only took 9 minutes for 20 posts. My TOPP list will be outdated very quickly.

Nah, Suzy, It doesn't make you sound smarter. It makes it look like you forgot how to spell.

I used to be terrified of needles..... shots hurt like h*ll.... then I realized that they only hurt that bad in my right arm. Now that I refuse to allow a needle in that arm, they don't hurt. I'm getting over my fear now.

Most people who try to sound smarter than they actually are end up sounded stupider Tami!
