No I don't have contact details either for eaa. I thought Bean did though. It has been ages since we heard from her.
Haven't left yet - hubby wants to come - hope he doesn't come into the supermarket with me, he's diabolical, it was easier last week when I took all 3 of my son's girls in with me - except that 2 of them took off their shoes and refused to put them back on (and I do sooo look down on people who let their kids go barefoot).

Re the Hitchhiker's Guide: I remember lying on my bed (pregnant and sick as a dog) listening to the strangest radio show ever - called Rob in to listen too. I couldn't work it out at all, but it was hilarious. Tuned in the following week to see if it continued - and it did! No wonder my daughter loves the show - Pre-conditioning really works!

I always identified with Arthur Dent. Bizarre things happening to a person trying desperately for some part of reality to grasp on to, the whole time hoping that it's all a bad dream.

Wow, what memories, should get the DVD it has been so long since I have seen it.

Yet he handles it pretty well. Vogons, Zaphod Beeblebrox. Marvin. Even his best friend Ford being form a planet somewhere in the vicinity of Betelgeuse.

Remember the scene in Milliway's... The Restaurant at the End of the Universe? Remember when Ford goes to talk to Hotblack Desiatto? Remember the actor playing his bodyguard? He's the same actor who was inside the Darth Vader costume. He was appalled when they dubbed his voice with James Earl Jones.

I looked up the movie you went to see - it sounds like something I might enjoy, but my husband would absolutely hate! I noticed the list of "If you enjoyed this movie, you might enjoy these..." One of them was Knocked Up. I got that on DVD because it sounded funny - absolutely HATED it (so did Rob) Maybe I'm getting old ...

Still haven't gone, just about to close down but remembered the other thing I wanted to say.

Viv - so happy that Kira was able to go home and I agree with you for standing apart from the others. Sometimes our children's choices aren't exactly what we'd choose for them ourselves but it's their choice. Good luck to the new family. How did it go anyway?

Suzy.. hate daylight savings.. cant wait for it to end. we get to vote on whether we get to keep it or not on May 16th ( a ittle birdie's birthday that day. This is our final year of the 3 year trial.

Why I dont like it..
One of the reasons:
Too Hot here late in the afternoon, specially come end Feb and March, to be outside enjoying the extra hour of light at the end of the day...
cant wait for the sun to go behind the horizen, so I can venture outside. The breeze comes in around 10.30pm ( Daylight Time), which is when I go to bed, too late to open up the house and let the breeze in to cool the house down.
And in the morning.. the sun doesnt rise till after 7.00 almost 7.30am by the end of March.
