Well - Emmy's frog - I got out of it's way.

Froggy is doing well so far but not as big as Cyn's

And Bella is not interested, it doesn't move that much, but the little mousey inside the spa cavity has her captivated.

That frog was hiding under a piece of furniture that Andrew had outside - he moved it and the frog jumped out. It was almost brown, I guess from hiding in there, but greened up quickly in the light on Emmy's shoulder.

We saw Bride Wars, good for wiling away the hours. It was a fun flick.

You've been quiet tonight.... I hope Avon is keeping you busy

No, there were no trees, but the wind was incredible, and a scary dust storm. As we were driving towards the mountains, you couldn't see them for the dust.
As we got closer to home, there was a lot of leaf litter and small branches on the side of the road, but nothing like it was during the storm in April last year when D#3 and I couldn't get back to Cockatoo as every road in was blocked. That is the reason they put out the warning today. She asked me why we were getting out again when the weather wasn't overly hot and there was some of that precipitation stuff this morning. I reminded her of that day last year, and told her to imagine what it would be like trying to get out if the roads were like it was then and the air so smoky you couldn't see the trees till you smashed into them. She nodded sagely!

Speaking of which...

That's right Dag, it was. I had forgotten when it was, but they were doing a lot of comparisons to it today, calling it 'The Storm of April 2008'! It was a doozy, certainly worth warranting a title.

I read a couple of pages last night middle of the night, but was not awake enough to respond. Perhaps I can go back later and read again. I know I enjoyed all the comments and thought appropriate thoughts in response to them.

Brenda, thank you, yes, achies are less this morning. Luckily our temps are forecast to go UP from here. At the moment it is 23 with wind chill of 18. (-5C and -8C) Looking for 50 (10C) degrees later today.

MizT, Froggy responded so well he decide to leave the comfortable abode I gave him and is off into the wild blue younder, although sure I heard him out by the shed so left the water bowl out for him. Was quite amazing how well he responded.
