I do hope someone has a way of contacting eaa to make sure everything is OK. If Gath won't give out the info, maybe he would call for us???

Broni, I hope someone has her phone number or address so that they can contact her and find out if she is OK. Someone, I think MizTricia, once suggested making sure that one person had a way of contacting you if there is a problem.

Decided I was in the mood to see John Lennon. There is a university in Liverpool that is offering a Master's Degree in The Beatles.

I saw The Beatles at their concert in Brisbane in 1964, I was 16 and had an excellent seat because a girl I was at school with knew the manager of the venue so we got choice seats. (BTW - I'm sure George Harrison was singing only to me! Really!)

Cyclone still off the coast and heading SE slowly. Getting windy here and has just started raining.
MizT - you can check this site (same as Suzy posted last night). Brisbane is still 100km south of Tewantin at the southern end of this map and Broni and I are even further south. As long as it doesn't gain in intensity, we'll be safe.

oh hi judy! day was great! i just got back from dinner as my sister's. as always we had good food and a lot of laughs.

there are two teachers in our local jr. high who have been having an affair with the same 13 year old student. one lasted for a year then he moved on to another teacher in the same school!!!

my neice has the first teacher for 3 of her 7 classes....well she has resigned now, of course, so i guess i should say "had." my sis is really upset about this. she and the teacher were actually pretty good friends. their older girls were in gymnastics together a couple of years ago, and they would chat while waiting for the class to end. they would still stop and chat when they ran into eachother around town. she is floored by this news! she was soooo normal seeming and had a great family! goes to show that you just never know!

It gives me the horrors that anyone in authority would take advantage of a child - and that's what they still are at 13. yecchhhh!

Hi Judy - it's quite windy here and a few showers. It's all expected to increase during the week as the effects of the cyclone reach us.
Not good for our business (mowing and gardening).

Hope you don't get anything too severe! We have sun today, but not too hot - good gardening weather. I've got a lousy headache - was still awake at 5am, then Rob's alarm went off, for no apparent reason at 6am! Not a happy little camper this morning!

It's kind of eerie. It's all coming in off the bay to the east, it's only 25c just feels weird. Our bad weather usually comes from the west.

Judy - I know how you feel, I have nights like that.
The worry with this weather is that the cyclone could get closer to us and strengthen. They usually don't get this far south. But it's good for Susan, missed her area completely and not much rain. They don't need this.

CynB I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! I don't know if we're having more bad weather lately, or if we're just more aware of it because of all our friends in different states (and countries) Lately it seems to be just one disaster after another!
