It's finally warming up here. For the next 5 days it's going to be in the 40's.

WooHoo, Heidi! That's like a heat wave! (For the DUGs, that's 40's*F.)

It's funny how in one area 40 degrees is "warming up" and in another area 40 degrees is a "cold front" (and I am not talking about down under)

I have had one of those days.
A planned power outage from 10.00am - 2.00pm, so had to shift 20 boxes of devil food into a freezer that wouldn't defrost. then the land line phone died the fault can't be fixed 'til 1st March. the power wasn't restored 'til 4.00pm then kept dropping out very 1/4 of an hour 'til 6.00pm.

It sounds like the Day From Həll, eaa. Why can't they fix the landline phone for another 10-11 days? Something doesn't sound kosher. Are they that backlogged and/or incompetent?

40℃ (104℉) would be horridly hot, but 40℉ ( 4.4℃) only seems like a heat wave when it's been below 20℉ ( -6.6℃).

It's amazing how that 40* can be either warm or cold when it's F, but DEFINITELY hotter than we'd care for when it's C!

It got up to 44℉ today, it's supposed to get to 48℉ tomorrow and up to 51℉ on Sunday!!!

So quiet here. You'd think we were all munching Valium.

Did you get your warmer weather, Heidi? We hit about 35*F today. Guess what is predicted for tonight through at least tomorrow night. If you guessed snow, you're right!

We hit 58℉ / 14.4℃ today, Julie. Tee shirt weather. We have this warmer stuff for a while. My sympathy about your snow.

At least the snow was wet and stuck to trees, etc., so it's pretty - and it covers up all the dirty snow. I hope your warmer weather helps to dry up the mud. I know you said that cold wet mud can just draw the life out of a calf - and isn't much fun for the humans either!

It's kinda hard for the mud to dry up if it's raining.
