Headache is better, but I'm now bleeding out of both ends. I'm not sure which is worse.

Heidi, that doesn't sound good. I hope you have been or will be going to a doctor! We care!

I've been to the ER. Bad kidney infection, and a couple of smaller things. I think my body has had enough of infections, and is reacting violently to this one. I've never vomited up blood before.

I'm so glad you went to the ER and got a diagnosis! Please take care of yourself - or "Do I have to come down there and check up on you?" (I'm channeling my mother, there.)

Yeah, you do! I'm only 5 or 6 hours drive from you. Depending on how fast you drive.

I don't drive very fast, plus I fall asleep, sometimes before we even get to a highway. If I were driving, I'd probably need to stop and take a nap every 20-30 minutes. It's not a reliable way to get anywhere. It's why I'm always amazed at the driving you do, sometimes without much rest.

I REALLY do hope that you're taking good care of yourself!

I AM trying. I'm staying out of the sun... pharmacists orders. I'm taking my meds, and taking it easy.

The people hereabouts refer to me as the Dark Green Flash. My truck is dark green, and usually is seen only as a blur speeding by. Last week I had to make an emergency run to the hardware store for some cat's paws (a rounded nail puller). The men waiting for them were astounded when I showed up in the amount of time that they thought it would take one way to the hardware store. Their jaws hit the ground when I explained that I also stopped for breakfast in town.

Heidi, you seem to live life in the fast lane! I'm feeling a lot like a tortoise about now.

And, good for you for trying to take care of yourself!

Julie... I admit that vomiting up blood scared me. And it really gave me the heebie jeebies when blood poured out the other end. I am following instructions 'cause I don't want to experience that again.

I guess we should realize that, if you gave us a scare, it must have been more scary for you! We're just glad you're doing better and following doctor's orders!

BTW, how is Doc doing? (If you answered on the other page, I'll find it there.)

I think this was one of the scariest things that's happened to me in a while. But I'm feeling MUCH better, now.

We have not heard from eaa in a while.
I put some Avon brochures out today into letterboxes.
60 to be exact.
In and out of the car 60 times as the houses were not next door to each other.
That is my exercise for the day.

Yeah, I know. I miss her wackiness. I may have to impersonate her again.

Hi, Heidi! You impersonate eaa well! She must be very busy - or was her hubby about to retire? That can put the brakes on visiting SA during the day. Come to think of it, she has been very busy and occasionally absent before.
