Yes, Broni, we ate din din at 9 pm, as it was ready and waiting, just needed warming. then I fell asleep in my recliner! Up and to bed by 10:30 p[m and slept nicely thank you.

for avatars and such, I work in an old computer program called Print Shop 15. I have tonnes of graphics on that program and over the years have learned how to manipulate them, it is a lot of fun. That is why I enjoy making avatars for anyone who needs one.

all..... I have yet to read the posts I missed, but need to quickly shove food in my mouth, and go out and tag a new calf. This was the cow I thought was gonna calve last night.

June.... I'm glad they finally diagnosed that blood clot. I am appalled that it took that long. Nobody here is a doctor (tho' there are some nurses) and everyone immediately thought it was a blood clot.

The calf is a heifer. That makes 15 heifer calves, and 7 bull calves. We're now past the halfway mark in calving.... and the rest of the registered cows aren't due until April.

Heidi, commiserations on your heifer...

I don't mind it being a heifer instead of a bull. Better a live calf than a dead one. We haven't lost a single calf so far this year.

The calf is a heifer and you show us a photo of a bully.
There was something about Ken's toes would be sore if it was a clot. They pushed his toes and bent them back. He was then taking lots of asprin to thin the blood and the leg is no longer sore. I just wish the ultrasound had bee done weeks ago.

Suzy, did the baseball plans get done? The 'Official Australian Baseball Rules' book has the plans and all the measurements in it. My scanner is not working at the moment otherwise I could have scanned and sent them to him.

June, I personally am annoyed at the docs. When stuff like that happens I want to go in and throw the test results at them and say 'I told you so'.

I know what you mean Suzy and especially when two doctors said that it wasn't a clot. Thank goodness for a nagging wife and mother in this case.

I just messed up. Completely forgot about my Dentist appointment which was scheduled for 21 minutes ago.

Then look at Sharon, two doctors did not diagnose the appendix and the third Doc. did not read the full scan report. All because they did not present 'normal symptoms'

Heidi, so understandable when you have so much going on in your life. My dentist and hairdresser both phone the day before with a reminder.

That picture may not be a bull calf, June. The area around the umbilical hangs down like that for a few weeks on most calves.
