Morning Suzy. I am intrigued. I have you as a friend but you are not showing up in the box as being on line.

Mariana - Date night

It seems like forever, hubby and I have made Saturday nights 'our night'. We feed the kids earlyish then retire to our end off the house and pretend we don't have any! We primp and preen, get dressed up as though we were going out, then make a special meal just for the two of us and lock ourselves away for the evening. The rest I will leave up to your imagination!

Whoops June. I sometimes uncheck the box when I'm going to troll archives or something. I must have forgotten to check it again. But it's been ages since I did that so I must have been lurking for ages!!!!

Gail, our problem is we don't have an 'our end of the house', though hubby has designed one for us to build!!! The kids bedrooms are right next door to ours...

It was like this house was designed for us! The kids rooms are all up one end, we are waaaay down the other end and there is a huge communal living area (including the kitchen and Broni/Rena's bedroom) between us!

Thanks for the reminder. I was set on "stealth mode" too.

I'm doing fairly well, Gail. I feel fine, just very sleepy all the time. I can't wait 'til I have energy again.

I'm finding the computer very frustrating this morning. My little blue light tells me I should be on fast mode, but my connection is definitely NOT fast! Fricka fracka!

My new word for the day: schadenfreude. Saw it in a news article so looked it up. For those as unedumacated as me, it basically means taking pleasure from the misfortune of others.

Loved your dog story...they are so funny. Our dog always sits up and takes notice of whatever the dogs on the TV are saying....we can tell how good an actor the dog is by the response from Jess. If the dog is happy and excited Jess is cool and relaxed. If the dog is angry, or threatening then Jess is anxious...

We don't usually have the dogs inside when watching TV, except in this room, so I haven't noticed them reacting to it. I'll have to invite them in to watch Inspector Rex one night.

BTW, I'm giggling at the idea of a dog being a good actor!

I don't really want to do that though as my computer is reacting tooooo slowly this morning. I keep looking for sneaky programs running in the background but can't find any, and my antivirus says no probs. Sigh.

Have just remembered that I am cooking...luckily it is a concoction for the dogs...they won't be too upset that it is now sticking to the bottom of the pan
