I 'watched' the end of the Dodgers and Phillies game. I actually had a site open that updated every 30 seconds so I knew about strikes, balls etc as they happened, I just couldn't watch the action... The next 3 games are apparently in LA so it could be a whole different ballgame - she says hopefully!

Mean Sudoluland! I am up early today, good think, as it has taken forever to catch up over night.

Gail, glad you got off the roof in one piece. Date night after that chore? Well, you deserve it, but I would be too tired to go. . . Take that back, I would not have been up on the roof in first place.

Mariana, I think it is wonderful your son "knows" what he wants to do in his life and is doing something to make it come true. shows initiative on his part. Many people just think, dream, and never do the first thing toward that goal. Learning a language is never a waste, even if he never uses it. Keeps the gray matter active, you know.

Broni, happy you can manage on part time job for the time being and have good prospects for getting another job if you need it. Nice position to be in. I loved when I could work part time. ONLY time I had money to spend and time to go spend it too hehehe.

Becky, actually I love my doc, I just hate pills! Medications and I have a bad history, I do strange things when taking them.

I did post some pictures on my page yesterday...we were mostly driving, so the pictures are from the road.

Today we are going to be sightseeing more, so I will be able to take better photos.
The coolest sighting yesterday was horses running and playing in the snow - just like the Budweiser commercials - it was enchanting!

Vici, you might be glad that Tampa Bay won but my older son is a Red Sox fan. He is hoping for a Red Sox/Dodgers world series. My dad has been a Dodgers fan for 70 years. My son is already wanting to make a bet with his Papa Bernie.

Suzy.. You have a LOT to be proud of. You helped Ally defeat a fear! You took her to the right person to help her. She succeeded AND she was really good. She learned a major life lesson there.

Gail.... SO glad that you got the gutter job done safely. I have seen various neighbors here have falls off of roofs and from tops of Tobacco barns, and the sheer number of injuries that occur is horrific, including my next door neighbor who landed on a hay spear when he was working in one of our barns. I'm glad you at least had a spotter.

Ruby... those were very wise words, though I also thought that you dropped a bombshell since it was out of context (thanks for the clarification).

i totally echo what heidi said suzy. being in front of a crowd doing something you are unsure of is terrifing! for me to speak is totally frightning, i would rather sing any day. at least when i sing it isn't MY words and thoughts being sent out, it is a character, something to hide behind.

what do you do on your dates gail? my hubby always asks what we should do, and the only things i come up with is movie, theater, or dinner. any other ideas?

took tulio to the groomer's, elsa has a b-day party to go to, kids are doing chores, i need to do chores....blah, blah, blah. guess i should get going. i really need to go shopping. i getting sick of the same dress every sunday. i hate shopping. off i go....

MizT, guess that's the reason I'm not fond of seeing doctors. Hate taking pills and getting shots. The "cure" is usually worse than the illness for me.

Know what you mean about taxes. I do ours every year and it seems like something is always being changed. Wish that we'd go to a flat tax.

What have you been doing today Becky?

Had to take my car back into the shop first thing this morning. Yesterday drove it and the tire warning light came on. At the time they fixed my brakes, told them to do an allignment and rotate the tires. Since I don't have an appt., have to wait for them to call.

I see.Always something to keep us busy.
Never heard of a tyre (stupid oz spelling) warning light.
