Weekend off, so the only kids i have are my own 2. Well 3 if you count the hubby, which I think most of us can.

I can relate to that.

Makes it sound expensive. It really wasn't when we got it. The blasted dashboard will chime 3 times if one of the sensors goes off. Then you have to look for the light that tells you what is "wrong."

Our neighbor used to do childcare in her home, but there's so many rules/laws she now works in an office.

That must keep you on your toes.They crawl into so much at that age but are sooo cute.
We get attached to cars and know all the little tricks with them.I love my little excel.Very economical to run,which is good with the cost of fuel now being so high

Not good at sleeping..sometimes think too much.That is how I discovered sudoku by getting on the puter while hubby was asleep.

Definitely Nola! Just watch for that addiction thing, it sneaks up on you.. You start by wishing to get on the list, and then you don't like being squished at the bottom, until one day you find yourself popping in and out of the site to see if a TOPP is near to try to get another one...

I thought I was bad waking between 4:30 and 5:30... though that has moved to closer to 6:30 for the last couple of days.

Family anecdote warning!

Yesterday I carried a full length mirror into the lounge room so Ally could check out her costume with help from us. It was one of the many tactics used to try to stop the meltdown. When we got home last night it was still sitting in the middle of the room. When we opened a connecting door both dogs ran full speed into the lounge room, only to simultaneously skid to a halt when they saw the mirror. It was as if they had both stamped on their brakes at the same time. They even skidded the same distance! They both backed off, went slowly forward and sniffed the mirror. Then Shadow checked around the back, we guess looking for the dogs she had seen and wondering where they were.

Yesterday while waiting for Ally's turn to sing we were talking with her teacher about the stage musical Wicked, specifically if we could remember which witch was squished. The wicked witch melting when water was thrown on her came up. Ally commented 'she wouldn't have been nice to be around'. Huh? we said. 'No showers' says Ally. None of us had ever thought of that!!
