good to see your back, hope you had a grand holiday...........

that was my smarty pants zachery letting you that i was home. he was looking up more fijian stuff.
let see, if i didn't pick benny up he would call 80 times then start to walk home. on the way he would think of all the reasons why he shouldn't be walking (oh, i'm conditioning for basketball!!! wah!!) and why i am a terrible mother, starting with abandonment. how do i know this? cause i make him walk a couple times a week to keep him greatful when i do pick him up. it was pretty cold tonight, so i was nice and he ws greatful, he said thank you!

June, would have used disposable gloves, but can't find any small enough to fit my hands snug. Cleaned my hands using polish remover and and old toothbrush.
It seems like us Americans love parades. Our community has a parade for practically every holiday. And, if there's a fesival, most towns will have a parade for that, too.

If you get the kind that uses a caulking gun, it's not a hard job. All you need is a steady hand. Plus, you can clean up window caulking with just water.

Broni - don't waste too much loyalty on them. I know from experience. I left a job after 18 years. They 'couldn't manage' without me and lured me back with better salary and conditions only to make me redundant 2 years later when it suited their bottom line!! Not happy, Jan!

Broni, having a quiet day, doing a few jobs but will have a girl tomorrow as Sharon does some private coaching and is catching up with her student tomorrow. Will also have to visit MIL as she is by herself for the week (94 years).

5 pages to read to catch up! And if I hadn't read them I might have had someone to chat too...

Today turned out well - against all odds! Ally had a melt down this morning, turned all diva and very very scared. I packed everyone in the car early and headed to where I knew her singing teacher was. Ally wouldn't get out of the car so I went to her teacher and said 'HELP!!!!!'. She first talked her out of the car, then talked her down, and then came to the competition with us! I don't think Ally would have got on the stage without her...

But she did!! And she did great!! She got through the songs without running off the stage (which another first timer did not) and she even managed to continue with a smile when her music skipped during one of her songs...

Hubby says he was really pleased because not having heard her sing he was worried he would have to be embarrassed for her. Sounds terrible, but we have both sat watching some of the auditions on idol thinking 'why didn't someone tell them?' But she was at least as good as most of the competitors. Some of them are so brilliant that it's incredible but we'll pretend they weren't there....

Oh, and she got a Highly Commended ribbon for her second song...

Anyway I'm a very proud Mum, and I finally got to hear her sing without a door in between!!!!!!

Now that I've finished talking about my family, I will get my manners back ...

Broni, 3 days a week sounds like a financial problem but a health windfall. I hope you can keep it up until everything is sorted out.

My energy is not great. I spend toooo much time here and my house gets something done in dribs and drabs. I only got the iron out today for the first time for 2 months!

Broni, looks like they have all left us. Guess Suzy will be busy if she just got home.

Just looked at the time so I guess I will have to think about food. Wish it would magically appear some times.

Suzy I am afraid the the Dodgers lost again but Mama will be celebrating.
