Sorry Suzy. I nneded a boost. Along with everything else MIL went into hospital today with clots in the lung.

Laura seems to have found an appetite she has never had before. Finished her dinner and peaches and custard and has now decided she would have a boiled egg and toast! She had a big sleep after Sharon had taken her swimming so it will be hard to get her to bed!

I saw all the fun you all had and all the fun names, even some for me. I was not quite up to joining in, even though it was giving me a good laugh.

I'm having trouble posting (just lost a long one) so will leave for a while, but will try to sneak one more in first....

Laura's appetite sounds like a good thing - that is complete recovery from her surgery - unless you are the cook, then it's just hard work!

I'm sorry to hear about your MIL. Blood clots are scary things... I hope that turns out well...

Haven't been able to sleep.... brain going 100 miles an hour, but producing no brilliant thoughts. Maybe this is my body's way of doing a major correction in sleep patterns?

Well am not sure about that but it would have been very quiet without me.
He seems happy I have returned.
Today I had coffee with sexy sue and her hubby.
I arrived first and went to another table.
I said to him, I have had enough of you, am sitting on my own today. lol pmsl lol
When SS left I went and sat with him and did the crosswords.
He is having trouble sleeping and I have to remind him to get things fixed.
Like he could not flush his toilet.
All the time I was away, so when I got back I said now make an appt. for the plumber!
So he did.
He also got another phone as the one he had was faulty. I nagged him to do that too lol
He is such a nice man, we do both enjoy each others company very much.
We are free entertainment for the rest of the customers. lol ehehehe

I have a little Malteze cross about 12 yrs old with a skin condition leaving her with hardly any hair,she sleeps on the bed with us (Hubby not happy but accepts),and the last 2 nights,she has woken me for a toilet break but it has been too late.I have had a wet bed and trying to hide it from Greg,but I am so sad that her time with me is coming to a close. I am upset about her getting old but cannot accept yet that it is time to have her put to sleep.As I write I'm having a cry....we love our pets just like our kids.

I'm back again. This time I'm using my dial up connection - lucky I haven't cancelled it yet!

Nola you should definitely change your name to 'Not Nympho Nola'. Will drive your hubby nuts!!

My Sammy a pomeranian cross is now 16 and a half years old, and has a few health problems..

I have a friend who 'inherited' a very old dog when her father died. This dog could not lift his back legs to go to the toilet, so she held them up for him. I thought that was a little too long to hold on, but I understood.

I'm back...Jess is very happy to have her friend back home.
I'm just hoping he doesn't spend all night letting the neighbourhood know that he his back in town...he doesn't tolerate cats or possums on his patch!!
Off to watch Denton...hope someone will be around later.
