I went to get my phone in case d1 texts from her trip and made myself a cup of coffee instead. The coffee is yummy, but....

Okay, weird news for today: A woman was arrested for disorderly conduct for swearing at an overflowing toilet - her own toilet in her own home. It gets better, she won a law suit ($$) after being found not guilty because her language was 'constitutionally protected free speech'.

What's the world coming to when you can't swear at an inanimate object in your own home. We'd all be guilty of doing that once in a while. I must admit if my toilet was overflowing, I'd have some choice abuse for it!!

Off to feed Puppy and have a shower.
Then later to visit Mum with my sister. Mum will think all her Xmases have come at once with both of her daughters visiting at once. Usually we spread it out and visit her separately but today we want to go shopping nearby together afterwards.

Hello Friends, I am home and I did have real food and a cola mid afternoon! I was invited to bring a snack that I could have after part of the test was complete. the techs running the tests (they did 8 of them today) said I was the only one who followed their suggestion to bring a snack hehehe. Hey, I was missing lunch, had not had caffeine for 24 hours, you darn tooting I was bringing my diet cola and my sandwich!

Hopefully I passed this test, will find out in a couple weeks if I did not, they will phone me once they get results back. but if all is OK, will get results Nov 10th when I go back for follow up.

I think I shall lie down for a very late snooze. I tried one this morning fore I left, and like Heidi, phone rang. Hubby could not answer, he was taking a shower, but he got it fore I cold shake the sleepy and make it to phone. It was important this time, a client phoning. So he is almost forgiven, hubby, not client.

MizT, very sensible taking your snack along! I'm looking a bit like a pretzel these days with all this crossing everything while hoping and wishing for good news...

MizTricia, don't you hate it when the phone rings and you are trying to nap. I once worked about an 18 day and was trying to take a nap. My husband decided to call me from work to see if I was able to sleep. I had some choice words for him, but they are not printable here.

Hi Tami... My IH does that regularly, and never learns that he gets cussed out every time!

I make sure there are no phones in the bedroom when I go to sleep! It's far enough away from our corded phone that I can't hear it, and the cordless ones are left as far away as possible. If someone wants to call me they won't get through until after I wake up...

I recieved an email from someone at school. It was posted on our online bulletin board. It said that Wendy's (a fast food hamburger chain) was celebrating it's 60th anniversary and had prices from 60 years ago. I decided to take the boys. The email was a hoax, but I still bought the boys dinner so I wouldn't have to cook.

Suzy, that toilet thing was in Australia? I'd love to know who reported her to the police? Wondering if it was a scam eg hubby reported her, they share the cash????
About punching the 11yo girl, the scariest thing is knowing what sort of adults the offenders are going to grow up to be. Kids I remember teaching young children and having a fair idea which ones were going to end up troubled / criminal adults.

I've gotten all the critters fed except dogs and pigeons. I'm heading out in a couple of minutes to feed the pigeons, but I had to come in and warm up. And fling food into the oven. Chicken parmesan. Yummers.
