What a nice person I am today, I made you coffee, but I cannot have any today! To the doc later for another test, wonder if I get a di0ploma once I finish all the tests? Ya think? For today, no caffeine, and nothing to eat after breakfast, present myself at noon. I made a herbal "tea" that says in big bold letters, NO CAFFEINE, so hope that is right. Nope, could not even have colas, or chocolate or de caf coffee or tea, as it has a tiny amount of caffeine in it, bummer. Cruel and unusual punishment, keeping me from my coffee!! So everyone enjoy a cup for me please.

I'm SO enjoying all the great smilies you guys are using. I will need to find some time to shop for some fresh ones...perhaps after the World Series that starts tonight - GO PHILLIES!!!

I went out to dinner with a girlfriend last night (Indian food - YUM...had Chicken Makhani and Malia Kofta) - then grabbed some lattes and headed to her house to catch up. Stayed way past my bedtime and got home too late to catch up with you all.

Good morning all! Good luck MizT with the test today! I've decided to go to Brendan's game. Even tho it is dreary and still in the 30's, he texted me last night and said he was starting. Yeah! I'm going to wear underarmor and bring blankets to stay warm. Maybe I'll bring a thermos of hot chocolate! Hopefully I'll stay awake on the drive home.

Oh, just remembered, found out why the 3 teens were arrested here a little over a week ago. The paper reported that they were pickpocketing at the local high school football game and even went so far as to punch an 11 yr. old girl just to steal her wallet. What proud parents they must have.

MIL had a very small, decorated Christmas tree. She put a sheet over it and stored it in the basement until the next Christmas.

How about getting a candle that smells like pine? Don't know if they do, 'cause hubby's allergic to perfumes.

Or, like June said, buy way earlier and bring it in for Christmas. A friend's brother used to do that every year. He'd then plant them as wind breaks.

Becky... good point. The parents of those kids must be SO proud. But just remember... those kids are the results of their parents teaching (or lack of it) and gene pools. The acorn doesn't fall far from the tree.
