Do you think it being an Australian site gives me an advantage in cyber space, or is it irrelevant? I have to go too. Cleaning out filing cabinets today...wish I had a shredder. Will leave the TOPPS to you all for at least a few hours.

i should have left a soda here for you mizt!
here you can save this one for tomorrow. hope you are free and clear when the tests come back.
suzy, have you found your brai
tami? and heidi- if my hubby called to see if i was able to get a nap, i would feel so loved! he never calls to just see how i am. when asked why, he said he figured that if i had a problem i would call him. this is true, but sometimes it's nice to be fussed over a bit.

Mariana... he doesn't call to see how I am, he calls to ask me to do something for him. OR, as I sometimes suspect, just to annoy me.
Well, I'd better go out and feed the pigeons now.

Mariana, it is nice to be fussed over but sometimes it can be too much. When you are trying to sleep because you have been up for over 24 hours and he calls to see if you are sleeping, it is time for a fight.

I like the no phones in bedroom when down for a nap. Rather, no ringing phones. I have been looking at my cordless phones to see if there is a switch to turn off the ringer but cannot find one. I like having a phone in the bedroom, in case I need hubby when he is in his office. Couple of times I have, once when I fell while making the bed and hurt my knee. Hurt to badly to walk, was able to get to phone and call him in the office. he checked it out and declared it was not broken, and got me ice. He is good at stuff like that hehehe.
Maybe I can remember to ask my daughter how to turn off the ringer, she has the same phones we do. she did tell me how to change the volume of the conversation, you have to do that through MENU. what is wrong with a little switch on the side for things like that, like back in the old days hehehe

TAMI, I thought, boy she is going to bed early. I tend to forget most of FL is Eastern Time, so it is an hour later and not so early after all.

Even for Eastern time (my zone), it's pretty early to go to bed. It's not even 10 pm now.

Just read a good news/bad news article:
Drug may reverse MS brain damage: Alemtuzumab appears to stop progression of the disease in patients with early stage active relapsing-remitting MS - the most common form of the condition.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/7680641.stm
The drug is currently used to treat leukemia. Unfortunately the side effects can be very severe which means research and testing will be carried out very slowly and extremely carefully. And it may be too late for my niece as it has to be given early.

Considering the racket my dogs make when visitors arrive, I have no business complaining about telephones waking me up.
I do NOT need a burglar alarm system here.

My favorite aunt has MS. She was diagnosed some 40 years ago. She has the slow progressing form, obviously.

My dogs only bark at people in the back paddock, which happens fairly regularly as people take shortcuts across there to neighbour's houses.

My niece (or rather my husband's niece) was diagnosed probably 12 years ago. She had had it for a long time and it was diagnosed as carpel tunnel syndrome.

More than half way there. And I have to leave the pooter in 10 minutes. That TV program on Discovery Health is on... the one featuring Mariana's best friend's brother and his conjoined twins.

BTW, I've been known to fall asleep before my kids! These days I wait until hubby gets home (usually around 10) before I start thinking about sleep.

MS is really nasty to diagnose. I think it is diagnosed as almost anything BUT MS for the longest time in everyone suffering from it.

Bella woofs at people walking by my house, but she has such a deep bark they would not dare come thru the gates. I have 6' high fence and gates at the front so they cannot see her, when I let someone in she still woofs but runs backwards which is so funny to see.

When I was walking I heard all kinds of dog barks. Everything from little dog yapping to big dog woofing. It surprised me that it didn't scare me at all. If noone was around I talked to them all! Some of them became my 'friend' and ended up barking to say hello.
