June, I think it is not surprising you have a cold. Burning the candle at both ends will do that to you. But just because it isn't surprising doesn't mean it isn't also a total pain in the tush and very bad timing! Sending you some chicken noodle soup, which I have read works wonders.... feel better soon June!

A summary for MizT....hmmmm....

Red contact lenses are really spooky and I know a Goth who wears them.

Fridge raiding is illegal (if you raid someone else's beer fridge).

Gail's d1 has a burn on her leg from a motorbike. I know zactly how she feels and have the scars to prove it (though they have freckles on them now).

Ebob is playing baseball and loving it.

Susan's son has his birthday on Xmas day and everyone wants her mother to adopt them because she makes 2 cakes so he doesn't feel like he's missed out on the celebration.

eaa is being careful with her connection so she doesn't use it all up in 2 weeks this time, and I keep missing her!

It's dangerous trying to do summaries - I can't remember the rest!

I am trying to find a picture of Rocket for Susan though. I lurved Mr Squiggle!!

On page 8 of my google search for a picture of Rocket I find a link to here! 4th of July, Susan from Canberra said she thought she could see Mr Squiggle through one of the windows of a rocket drawing for the day's pictures...

Rocket???? Mr. Squiggle???? I sleep for15 hours and wake up to this?

Everybody.... I have rejoined the land of the living, but have 5 pages of posts to read yet.

If you managed to sleep for 15 hours Heidi, I do not think you should complain what you wake up to. Our kids all loved Mr. Squiggle!!!

I'm not complaining.... My poor brain takes even longer to awake than my body, and this confused my brain even more.

Mr Squiggle was a kids show where a puppet with a pencil for a nose would turn squiggles sent in by children into pictures. Rocket was how he got here from the moon, Miss Jane was his assistant (hold my hand Miss Jane), and blackboard held the pictures (Hurry Up!)

We didn't get that show in the USA. Pity. It sounds like a nice, imaginative show for kids.

It's after 4 pm. I really should get dressed now, and finish my breakfast. HEY..... Is my body switching to OZ time?

Susan, I hope your mom will adopt me, too. I have an older brother and always wanted a sister. Sister-in-laws are not quite the same. I promise not to be a bratty sister. I was a brat to my older brother, I out grew it by now. How do you think I got the name Tami the Troublemaker???

I am very happy. My Dolphins kicked Buffalo's butt. I am partnered with another teacher in the morning and she is a diehard Buffalo fan. I am going to wear my Dolphins jersey tomorrow just for her.

Ebob is playing for the Braves. Sounds impressive doesn't it? Even the Aussie baseball teams take the names of the US teams. In CA she played for the Angels and the Cardinals....

Good mAen, SA6! I've been trying to catch up on comments since I went to bed last night. (Well, it was really this morning.) So much new information. I agree about not worrying about a comment about SA6 on Easy. Who REALLY cares? We know who we are and can't be bothered if anyone thinks poorly of us.

Suzy, I hope Ebob has a wonderful time playing baseball. I love to watch, but I am completely uncoordinated at sports.

I have a question about the friends box. Does it know if I go off-line? Does it only remove my name if I sign out? I NEVER sign out, so it would look like I'm always here.

Gath once said that if you don't do anything for 15 minutes it automatically takes your name off the list...
