Gee...that was quick...must submit some smilies! I agree...we do need webcams. Pete is after an iMac but is waiting for the next model to come out...apparently it is close. In the meantime I think I shoul get a couple for the other 2 desktops...I would also like a new laptop...the old one is so slow we can't use out current spyware...it just grinds to a halt!

Me - I'm all for cheese to stop anything that's shooting thru the system...but that might be a little rich for Lachie.

Yep... Hormel makes a great one that you zap in the microwave for 4 minutes. Don't think you can get it there, tho'.

I am watching some of the football games. Dolphins were doing good all game, but are now only up by two points and there is still over 6 minutes on the clock. Hubby is happy. His #2 team, the Giants, are beating Dallas. Our neighbor/friend is a Dallas fan. We will tease him tomorrow. (hopefully)

What programs do you ladies use to get the correct size for the avatars and smileys? I did use Shrink Pic but was wondering what others?

Hi everyone
have just been to the vet with my darling Sammy
the vet tried hard to get a blood test,
but Sammy was so stressed he turned blue,
so the vet stopped and called me to try and calm him down.
in the end we gave up, the only options we have are to start him on the meds and take a chance,
but if his kidneys are not working properly it will kill him,
or do nothing, Ian the vet, thinks he will be gone in the very near future anyway,
so I said if we go with the tablets and they work he will have some quality of life, and if they dont work, my question is will it be a quick death ? he said yes.
so I decided to go with the tablets and see how he goes.....

Liz... I'm proud of you. Good decision.

he's been through so much with me...

Lizzy, I will be thinking of you and Sammy. It is hard to know the end is near, even for a pet. They become such a part of the family.

Liz... the meds MIGHT work, remember.

I triple checked Heidi, I think they're at 11 and 10 - adds up to the right number then too...

Yes have to remember they may work,
but the vet did say he is just treading water here, just hanging in there anyway,
but if his quality improves that will be great.
even if only till christmas....

a big hug for you Lizzy...my heart aches just at the thought of my Panda going over the rainbow bridge - but then we all have to at some point.
