OH OH< now everyone is here posting! who is going over the top?

It is chilly this morning, in the 30's. So much to do, so little time. Wasted a lot of time yesterday because Ian had to work at his school's open house. 4 hours I could have been getting the house ready. By the time I got home I had such a headach, I didn't feel like doing anything!

Vici, I hope I did not step on toes with my comment. sometimes you do need some help getting things into prospective. I hope your therapist can help you get a handle on this.

that was a fluke. Vici, I've been googling unsuccessfully to see if I can find a verse that I was once sent in an email. It involved a mother and her child. The mum was unthinkingly being less kind to her child than she would a stranger. I think you'd like it. The only bit I remember is a bit about the mother accidentally stepping on her child's toes (or something like that) in the supermarket, and apologising, thinking it was a stranger, then, realising it was her own child, said something like 'oh it's only you'. I'll keep trying to find it. Does anyone else have it, or know of it?

VICI, you are right, it is in my mail box, sorry , should have checked first! Now, mind you, I have to open a different browser and a bunch of stuff to get to my e-mail, and my internet and my phone were both out when I first got up, so I never made it to check mail. My tail of woe and I shall now go and sit on it!

MizT, if you mean my toes, definitely not!!! I'm only kidding around. Vici knows the significance of 'bad girl', and I was just joshing her that it's been way more than a few days since I've got an email from her (not that I've sent her one either!!!) It's all good.

SUSAN, that does not sound like anything I have received. I do understand the sentiment though, all of us are guilty of treating strangers with more kindness than our family.

Vici, I recognize that making more effort for friends and even STRANGERS than with me. It can really push my buttons if I let it. Then I realize, I do the same thing. Guess it must be part of our nature, and shows how comfortable we are with others, if we can show our not so great side to them!

Susan, I think I know what you are talking about. There are a few versions around. I think one had to do with a little boy picking flowers for his mother and ignores them or something.

Now I need to go and so FFUTS! It is Monday, start of another week, and the chores start again. I promise, I did the exact same things last week! some more than once even. Empty that dishwasher, clean those counters, wash those cabinet doors, just where do all the finger prints come from?? Feed the machine, hang them out, cause it is a lovely day, run errands, AAAAAGGGHHHHH, too much! I am tired just thinking about it, maybe I need a nice nap first hehehe

It's suppose to rain pretty steady here today, so I'll be doing indoor "stuff"...still have to get that last 200 bulbs in the ground, but we'll have clearer weather later in the week.

Hi folks..is there anybody other than Vici and Tricia about?
Have had a funny evening going through photo's..it is my elder sister Margie's birthday and I think that is what started it. I have been so busy trying to hasten Lachies recovery that I haven't even got a card in the mail. I feel bad because she NEVER misses anybody. I sent her an email and a message on facebook and that started me hunting for a few photos for facebook...I'm copping a bit of flack for having a silhouette instead of a photo!!! I've missed out on all the chatter here tonight but that is probably for the best...people must think I post far too much!!It is now after 1am and so I think I had best hit the sack.
