Hiya Twin - and 'ello eaaaa (said with a bird like screech!)
Hubby's hand is coming along, but I am not so pleased with his presence lately. He's being a bit of a poop and I'm getting pretty tired of it. I understand he is bummed about his condition and all - and bored with not being able to work on the house...but I think it stinks that I get the brunt of it when I'm the one doing the most to support and help him.
That's my beef...now I'll let it go (for now!)

Where is Nicholson Street in Spotty, June. I can only think of the one in Footscray!

My hubby is on another two weeks holidays now.

Must try and get some sleep. Nearly went to sleep driving yesterday so had two cups of coffee this morning, the last one 10 hours ago!

I just got that e-mail this morning, Gail...cracked me up - those squirrels where too funny! Squirrel massage, indeed!
I sent it to a few others besides my Sudoku buddies, but I knew you guys were as off your rockers as I am, so it shouldn't have offended!

Gail - so true about how they feel so comfortable letting all their frustration show to us (the ones they love - haha)
Some days I do better than others with it - I think what bothers me the most is seeing him make an effort to be warm and friendly with others and not with me...grrrrrr!

Can you tell it's all wearing a bit thin on me? I think I'll give my therapist a call so I can go dump it on her and maybe get a more positive perspective. Right now I'm my own worst enemy - feeling the victim and all!

VICI, come lie on my couch and talk to me! Works about as well as a therapist. What I have found about men, you cannot change their behavior, you can only change your reaction to it. Look at what he is doing and how you react, then find some way to change that. maybe walk away for a bit. He can only make you crazy if you let him, you know!

Susan - I thought I did send it to you, too! You are in the "undisclosed" group - will re-send it just to you...BREATH!

Good morning all! I fear I will never catch up. Hope all is well with you all!

Drove down to Brendan's game on Saturday. He got hurt about 25 minutes into the game. First a guy kicked him in the ribs. Then a guy tripped him and he landed funny on his arm and was holding his shoulder. Then he was tripped again and skidded on the turf and both of his knees were dripping blood. It was the last one that sent him off the field. You're not allowed to play with blood. He came back on the second half with his legs wrapped from above the knee to the ankle to make sure the bandages didn't come off. They won the game and came in first for the season. Now they have playoff for the Conference championship. Then they play in the NCAA playoffs for the United States championship. I want to go to the playoff games,Wednesday and Saturday, but there are conflicts. Bryana has been asking me to come to another game for a while and her last two games are Wednesday and Saturday. Ian starts his indoor season this week and he has two games on Wednesday. My sister called and said she wanted to visit this weekend because she has a long weekend. She's from south New Jersey and it is a 5 hour drive. I'd hate to tell her that on Saturday we'll be driving 6 hours, either back down to New Jersey or over to Boston. I'd also hate to say not to visit us though because nobody comes to visit, they usually stop over on their way to someplace else. What to do? When it rains, it pours!

VICI, what is it you are resending to Susan? Did I get it? have not seen e-mail from you in a few days here.

MzT - Good morning...I, too, recognize it is my place to change here - but I just want to leave it all right now. I know this will pass...but in the meantime I'm gonna seek out some folks to talk to who can help me change my attitude around it all.
Stella - WHEW! What a whirlwind of a weekend you'll have. Congratulations to Brendan and his team. I'm sure glad he was not hurt so badly that he'd be out for the play-offs!
