I have clothes ready to hang out, must feed machine AGAIN, the sun is shining, temps are moderate for November, a gentle breeze and beautiful blue sky, very low humidity, and all is right in my world. Well almost all hehehe

everyone! i clicked in this morning only to realise i was clicked in as roayal!!! i figured out that my son zachery royal has joined up as royal. i sure hope that is the case anyway as i left a mother appropriate message on his page that anyone else would think i'm crazy for!

vici is your hubby one of the quiet types? mine is and he does the exact same thing! grrrr. i just gave him a set of rule for when he needs time to think or just some space. he needs to spend 5 min with me being on his most kind behavior, he must touch my shoulder and give me a hug 2 times each evening as i get dinner etc. and 1 kiss when he comes home from work. if he does these things, i don't even notice that he is being aloof and distant. it totally works. that'll be 5 cents please.

vici, very cute message on zach's page. royal was my grandfather's name. he died right before zach's birth. i thought it approriate to give him a tribute with this brand new life. my grandmother was very touched by it and i'm glad i used that outdated, slightly nerdy name.

I was feeling a bit sulky thinking I'd missed out on the emails, went to check and there they were - I'd read them and everything! Sigh. What is to become of me?

Vici, I have a friend who is having trouble with a grumpy hubby right now. She says he snarls at her and is all sweetness and light to everyone else and she just wants him to be like that to her for a change. I have to bite my tongue, though I have said a few very subtle things.... my friend is a wonderful friend, if you are sick she is on the doorstep with flowers, if you need a ride somewhere and she is not at work she's there, if you need a shoulder there's one available....but..... she snarls at her hubby all the time! From your posts I don't think you are doing the same thing, but you made me think of my friend and how much I wish I was one of those people who could find a way to talk to her about what she is doing without totally annoying her! Unfortunately my foot in mouth disease makes that impossible...

Okay, just for fun I have created a Sudoku Melbourne Cup Sweep... For the topsiders that means everyone's name was put into a draw with horses names. Because this is a cyber sweep, the owner of the winner horse wins the prize of..... drum roll please ..... absolutely nothing!!!

MizT, I have absolutely no idea of odds or what chances the horses actually have!! But I now can cheer (or cry) for Mad Rush as he/she rushes across the finish line! The race is around 3pm sudoku time...
