Mama - sounds like a horrendous trip home, but so glad you are safe, that Jazz is improving and that Angelique and Grandee are doing well.

HI VICI, Congrats on the trip over the page and getting 2400. OH WOW, have we posted that many in the 2 weeks CynB was gone??

Welcome back CynB, good to have you home again and so happy you had a lovely trip.

Mama, good to see you are safely home also, and found Angelique on the mend and still with your granddaughter. I know that was a terrible experience, being checked out by child services (whatever it is called there). It is not fun. We had dealings with them when Al's ex reported him delinquent on child support. WRONG! we had proof he had paid more than due, but it was a hassle, and they monitored payments from then till she was 18.

BUT BUT BUT, BEAN! Today I feel better than I have since surgery, do I have to rest? I rested all day yesterday, cause I was a bit off in the tummy last day and a half, no, nothing to do with the surgery, some tummy bug I think. Tummy just hurt. Today I am feeling sooo much better, like someone turned the switch to "good day" hehehe. I have a lot I want to do today, a bit at a time, mainly raking out from under the clutter from yesterday and a bit of cooking.

AND i want to sit on the deck a while, enjoy the breeze and the sunshine. OH OH, good think I reread that sentence. I had the wrong vowel typed into DECK, and would have been banned for naughty comments hehehe.

Drat, once I finish reading all the comments, I'm so tired that I need to go back to bed. I had a bad night with the cold (so much for those Nyquil ads ), couldn't breathe, couldn't sleep. So I am now seriously exhausted. And Idiot Husband is back. He woke me up from my only doze at 7 am by smashing dishes in the kitchen, then throwing a tantrum because I asked what the noise was. ....... I have figured out a perfect way to dispose of the body, but I need an alibi. Any ideas?

Morning all!

Viv popping in by mobile phone??? Wonder if she could read as well as post...

MizT, glad to hear you are feeling so much better. The time on the deck sounds like fun! I get to rake through stuff today too. Sigh.

Heidi, I hope your cold gets better soon. I loved NyQuil. Wish I could get it here!

CynB, glad to hear you had a good time.
Heidi, won't lime get rid of the bones, how about under the fishpond hehe? OH and you were painting down under!
MizT, know what you mean about someone turning the switch, but you still have to take it easy.
Viki, did you find the right vowel?, sure the duck would not be too happy about being sat on!
Whoo Hooo I have a friend on YouTube!

Heidi....You are right...sounds as if we are both having the same nasty symptoms...no fun at all.
I will be very careful to not miss Jazz's dose of meds...I'd hate to see him have any worse seizures than the five he had. I think the meds may be too strong, but since this is his first full day at home, I think he just may not yet be accustomed to the meds. If he stays this way too long, I'll take him back to the vet's. Thanks for the heads up. Hope all of you have a great day...I'm off...too tired to stay at the pooter today.
Will relax and watch the football games. Just watched some neighbors filming a silly performance about McCain and Obama..there are going to post it on You-Tube. The little I saw was cute. I'll keep my eyes out for it! Peace!

there=they...yes I am tired.
Suzy...That's a good question, but when a baby is hurt and there is no good or logigal reason to explain the injury, for instance, an auto accident, doctors must involve them. My only problem with them is that they didn't bother to investigate before trying to take the baby away from her nursing mother. Thankfully, the hospital stay left plenty of time for all to observe mother and child, and to observe that she had loads of family support backing her.
In our case, things worked out okay for us, but sadly too many could lose children unnecessarily, when they are not at fault. I guess though, its better to err on the side of caution when children's lives are at stake. I'm just glad Angel's ok and happy at home with her mom. Thanks for all of the good thoughts and prayers...they helped!

The other idea was to dig a deep hole, put him in, add some dirt, then plant a BIG tree over him (one that needs to be lifted with a front end loader, at least 25 ft. tall). I've never heard of anyone looking under a big tree before.

Mamacita, are the docs still investigating the causes? If I was your grandie I would be worried that something similar might happen again. I doubt there is much worse than watching your child suffer. Thank goodness for family support!

Thanks to all who sent good wishes to the newlyweds. The service was a little traditional with a unique "stamp" on it. Instead of playing the wedding march, the bride and her father were escorted to the groom by a bagpiper. The bride's grandfather was either Irish or Scottish and the bagpiper was a surprise to her and her grandmother. Would have come back last night to let you all know how it went, but was spent.
Thanks again.
