I want to dedicate this TOPP to June

Back in the days when SA was busy and we could go through a few pages per day. June and I often vied to get the TOPPs.

Suzy, I hadn't realised that it was a different accident. I knew the one with the actress in it happened down you way. How awful to have another bad one nearby.

Nice dedication for the TOPP, CynB. Thank you.

I crashed right after leaving post# 11960, At that point, everything outside was wet and icy. When I woke up a few minutes ago, everything outside has turned white.

About the TOPP - I'm glad it was page 300, but it's a shame that it didn't come up on Monday 15th, June's birthday.

Still no sign of MizT. The sleep study must have sucked.

It is cold and white outside! Everything is covered with ice and an inch or three of snow on top A good day to stay inside. My truck doors are iced shut. Fortunately, I have a valid excuse to stay in.

Thank you for the TOPP - Dedication, CynB! I think page 300 is special and easily remembered. It doesn't seem at all likely that we could get another new page by Jan. 15.

But, maybe we could try.

Suzy, I can understand the appeal to living in a quieter (and possibly cheaper) area with fewer emergency vehicles necessary. I can also understand Heidi's concerns. As I recall, she avoids the hospital nearest to her in favor of one that has a much better reputation but is further away.

Heidi, it's good to hear that you are continuing to improve. It may be slow, but you didn't get as sick as you were overnight either.

I don't suppose we could get 30 more posts in around 12 hours.

I know I couldn't do it alone.

If so, perhaps you could write and post a comment or two - or more - to get us closer to another page.

Did 12 hold any significance for June? I was thinking TOPP of SA12 might be appropriate? Just a thought...

The sleep study did not suck, I thought I had posted about it, sorry. I slept better there than at home, even with the wires everywhere. One, the bed could be raised at the head so it was even better than sleeping in my recliner, mattress was most comfortable I have slept on. Outcome, I have mild sleep apnea, and my pulse ox (oxygen in blood) drops to the 80's from 98. they want me to come back for a second night with C-Pap, to see how much it improves. Monday I must again call insurance to see if this is covered.

today, well yesterday now since it is almost 1 am Sunday now, I picked up and started the new pain patches. I have slept most of the afternoon. Every time I sat still to read or watch TV, I found myself waking a couple hours later. I am hoping this is temporary, until I get accustomed to this medication. It was cold and colder when I went out this morning. AND this time I lost my same parking space I have had for weeks and weeks. I would find it still vacant when I returned home, no such luck today. A long walk in the cold windy parking lot to get my chair, then back to auto to pick up my few groceries I bought while out to pharmacy. Our garden fountain, water pouring from a jug held on shoulder of a female statue, has her wearing an ice dress once again!

As the temperature was dropping here Friday, I helped a resident re-pot his Christmas poinsettia. He took it upstairs and dropped it, breaking most of the plant apart, and then he wanted it potted again? Next time staff asks me if I will help a resident, I will not be available. Staff member and I decided to give him the last of the poinsettias that the florist had given us before Christmas, just to pacify him. I have it and the little that remains from his broken plant in my apartment, until it gets warm enough for me to go back outside again. bummer.
