Look what I can do.

It just isn't the same when no one else is here.

You know what we need. We need a daily page like the puzzles. Then we wouldn't have to move every time we get too many pages.

Time to do stuff. I will be back after I hear from the travel agent.

Has anyone else had problems trying to post on "easy"? I've tried five times to post a message, and I keep getting error messages.

Jane - Hi-how-ya-doin'...no problems earlier with the easy puzzle, but have just logged back on. Need to get to "hard" and "tough" - plus the jigsaws.

Becky - great to hear from you and glad you are all hooked up with new-fangled pooter (and TV!) devices.

Heidi - lousy news about the water...when I lived in Mexico some years ago, we would be without water at times. I can live without a lot, but water is pretty much a necessity!

Brenda - I would LOVE to take Callie for a walk...can I some Wednesday? I think she'd love the doggie walking gang!
Gail - DANG! I missed you too - I just discovered the jigsaws a week ago (yeah, I know, I'm slow coming around to all this!) and I just love 'em!

Shopping day today. Don't wanna, but gotta!

When I lived in So Cal we always had several gallons of water hanging around. It was one of the things recommended for earthquake preparedness. Here, we have none. But I have just decided to get some!!!

Jane, today the stop at the Docs was just to pick up instructions for a test that is scheduled next week. One of those tests tht requires a prep. Diagnostic center faxed to doc's office for me, saved me time and gasoline. Just doing all the routien tests that should be done once we hit a certain age.

Morning again. I'm not here yet, d2 is still getting ready for school.

OMG. I dropped in yesterday and we were at p 122 and now at 128! I have obviously been missing a whole heap of stuff.

MizTricia - I think it's frustrating that we are getting these tests done once we hit 'that' age. We should be doing them before we hit that age and preventing things from happening. I would have loved to know years ago that I had the Coeliac's gene. (Of course, if I am going to be fair, then years ago we didn't have the test for the gene and diagnosis consisted of some fairly invasive procedures, but I am having a rant here so fairness doesn't come into it!)

Like Jane, I've been getting error messages when I try to post.
First, I am feeling quite a bit better now, I think my Doctor's educated guess was spot on. From the symptoms I gave her over the phone, she suspected Giardia, a protozoan parasite, and put me on the treatment for it. Today is the first day in a long time that I haven't spent most of the day sleeping.

Fortunately for the animals, we plan for water problems. Just about every pasture on the farm is set up with at least 2 water sources. The horses, cattle and sheep have tanks for both city water and well water (the tanks for city water hold from 600 to 750 gallons of water each), and some also have a pond, creek or means of collecting rain water. So we can go for a few days without having to worry about them. Only the birds need water taken to them, and they don't drink much.

Heidi, glad to hear you are feeling better, I hope it sticks so we can move our nagging on to the next victim!

I love your collie avatar. We had a collie when I was growing up, her registared name was Princess Dolly Dale, but it took the family so long to decide on a compromise name that we just had to call her something, and she was soo tiny, she became and stayed Baby!

OH Suzy, me too. I know the prep was cheaper to buy hehe, and pharmacist said it would be easier. We will see.

MizT, she was mostly fine, just a little double-take as she went out the door. I pretended not to notice. I have always asked 'how was your day' when she gets home, now I am very careful to say it in a very cheery voice - I'm expecting the best!!

I am off to fling food, I made a meat loaf early this AM, just warm that, find a couple veg, and we are set for "tea". Sweet is his choice, a Hawiaan punch cake (on sale in the bakery department, and no trans fats) or the Weight Watchers key lime pie I made day fore yesterday.

I'm off too, though it's morning here so no food flinging. I'll try to log on as Ally and submit, then do the dreaded shopping...

Brenda - I'm still laughing about accountants wanting to know the 'far end of a f#rt' - I siad to Broni a few days ago that they wanted to know the 'ins and outs of a ducks b#m'! Both very descriptive phrases!!
Heidi - If it's not one thing it's another. Hope yiu get the water problem solved asap. Glad to hear your medication seems to be working - so I won't nag!

Off to visit my Mum today - haven't been since last week and feel a little guilty. She has no concept of time and would still think it was ages since she'd seen me if I went every day - but I know it's 8 days and I feel bad!
