The fire is for the tea and cakes and also for me and Merlin. He has a bed next to the fire and he's all curled up on it.

AND I actually put away the chocolate and sliced up and orange instead.. but you can have some choccie if you like.

Can I vent? That reminded me of something that was said to Ally... After 4 years I thought we had successfully convinced Ally, now 12 years old, that she isn't 'fat'. Two little sweethearts told her she didn't have boobs, she had rolls of fat. In one fell swoop they undid everything... she is fat again, just ask her.

Suzy, I have to watch myself to avoid diabetes. I feel for kids who are so sensitive to their bodies. A real concern about weight has gone off track somewhere.

Ah Suzy, that is exactly the problem we had with D#3. She was teased mercilessly about it in primary. All we could do was not make an issue of it. Guess what, she has blossomed into a stunning, willowy, tall girl which came as no surprise to us. I told her, she was just building up for one heck of a growth spurt. The narrow-minded ones still view her the same way, but she grew out of it, they will never grow out of being stupid!

The OG opening ceremony has started. Over and out from me.

That's encouraging Gail. The thing is, I don't believe she is fat. Not thin, but not fat either. It made me wonder if I was one of those unrealistic mothers... You've seen her photo, what do you think?

DINO, 3 is not a record on SA, but I think it is on this SA5. First SA, first 5 or 6 pages were by the same person . . . .

actually it was the first 7 pages on SA1 that holds the record by none other than our MizT!!

I'm still up MizT, but not for long. IN the search box of google, just type in 'happy image', for instance, and you should get a page of thumbnail size pics to choose from. I have also searched for tiara image, feather boa image etc, get the idea? If you get a page of site links, go to the top of the search page and select 'Images', then you will get the page of pics as I described. For the one we were talking about, we typed in rofl image. Hope that helps, not confuses!

Dino, happy to see you posting. Have been thinking about you lately and was going to start asking if anyone had heard from you. Glad to hear that it's not more serious. IBS can be a pain, but as was said before, can be managed.

Ruby, yep, changed providers. The reception for the tv is great (digital). Even tho we had cable before, the picture sometimes seemed fuzzy and would go out at the drop of a hat. Everything is now thru our phone company. The cable has 3 times as many channels (some radio music, no ads), phone is the same, and, our internet connection is now wireless and a little faster.

So happy the party is next weekend. This Saturday we're going to pick peaches and having dinner at the neighbor's. Sunday our new couch is being delivered and having company for dinner. Geez, beginning to sound like a social butterfly.

Rolanda, I don't think we make typos. I swear that somewhere in cyberspace imps are taking away, replacing and switching letters. At least that's my story and am sticking to it.
