Suzy, Gail's right. A lot of girls will put on a bit of "baby fat" getting ready for a growth spurt. I wouldn't be surprised that in the next couple of months that she'll grow like a weed. My mom told me, "Beauty is only skin deep, but ugly is to the bone." Outside appearances change, but those girls will be ugly for a long time.

Hello SA5, was having problems earlier today but seems okay now.

That went through okay. Off to read and do puzzles now. I'll be back later.

I have been trying to say all day, and keep getting either error messages, visitors or phone calls. Once I got the message asking me to be the first one to post.
The plumber is back here now, finishing up the job.

I got that same "be first to post" message a couple times. I am very happy the board is back up and running again.

You have reassured me about Alyssa. She always gets a little rounder just before a growth spurt, but I didn't think she was fat. But I have also read that many mothers don't think there overweight children are overweight... So your opinion helps.

Okay, I haven't wanted to say it in case I jinx myself, but here goes..... I haven't had a time out, first to post, or any other error message since just after we moved to SA5. There, I said it. Watch me getted timed out on this post!!!!

I have done the puzzles (well not tough or 16x16, don't have enough patience for those), and read the news. Am not going to dip into the archives today - taking a day off.

Off to try to find out about canteen duty...

This will be my last post for a while. I'm off to bed then in the morning will do the final pack of the caravan then we are off until 26th August. Weather at the moment is not too good but I have my fingers crossed that it will improve.
Anyone who is not feeling too good I hope you get better soon. Anyone recovering from or due to have procedures I hope everything goes well.
Anyone who needs to go for tests.. get those appointments made.

to all of you for your words of encouragement. Believe it or not.... I have been searching for my referral!! The mind works in mysterious ways... my subconscious mind [the bit that doesn't want to go to the doctor] was on vacation when I put it in a safe place for follow up. Now I am going to go and confess to the doctor that I have put off going so long that I have lost the referral.

Fell asleep watching all the athletes march into the stadium but woke up for the Green & the Gold who turned out to be in Federation Blue?? Not to worry... I saw the spectacular lighting of the torch and the 'lightshow' afterwards. The Chinese certainly love fireworks. Quite an interesting display of capital expenditure when you consider the human rights issues over there... the people that were made homeless to make way for the Olympic paraphernalia to mention just one.

Well...looks like I'll manage a CP without a problem. Need to go shopping... out of dog food. may as well get some human food while i am out as well

Finally got to see 'THE JOKE' - Daplap sent it on to me and I actually found it rather funny.... not very far removed from some of the things I've seen in hospitals!!

It is obvious by now that I believe in finding the humour in most situations.... life is too short to get hung up on the 'little stuff' and not to have a laugh along the way.

Heavens... the cat certainly hasn't got my tongue today.... I had better skedaddle and attend to stuff. Nice to find my Inbox full today and will be answering personal messages later.

Dino WB, hope you are feeling better. Thought of something some of you may be interested in, I was having similar problems a while ago and figured out milk was the main culprit so changed to A2 milk which fortunately sorted it out. Think the additives in the other milks were upsetting me.
