Gorgeous winter's day today!!

Zusy.. dont find it too hard to do.
just need to be organised !!

last year for the 21st. we had a BBQ at our place, and I did all the salads.
umm we catered for about 80.
Made tons of normal potato salad, Dutch potato Salad, Coleslaw, Garden Salad.
Brithday boy did help with the food prep.
MIL made all the sweets !!

Glad I went back to see what I missed - Rolanda is a dag and Mary is a gem (have collected the recipe Mary)

D#1 turns 21 at the end of the month. We will do the quiet family thang as we always do, and the following weekend, she and a bunch of her mates are going out to dinner at a bistro not to far away. That's my idea of bliss.

I'm dreading 21sts! But I have almost 6 years to become prepared....

Ebob came home with an invitation to apply for a science summer school thingy (during school time but in December). Apparently last year 2 girls applied and neither got in. I have my fingers crossed, though I'm not sure whether I want her to get in or not - it's in Newcastle!!!!!!

Rolanda, yes, I slept very nicely last night, thank you a full 8 hours! Now if I could just do that 2 nights in a row I would be set.

Must get the iorning finished for Mum comes to visit? What a good incentive to keep you up to date. Back when I ironed I never got finished. You could often find a ball of starched and sprinkled clothes in the freezer, the ones I did not finish!

Suzy, Gail always multitasks, she is out and about leaving a message, or IMing with someone, or something. she might remember to drop back in.

I have a permanent ironing basket, sometimes it gets emptied, but there's usually at least one thing in it. I often leave my clothes for last so when I empty it it looks like I'm the one wearing the most clothes that need ironing!

Had Teresa over for dinner and she brought the puppies, two of the cutest miniature fox terriers. Bella was the perfect hostess, she bounce around and played with them. A 30kg dog with two pups that were the size of her paws, so cute.

MizT, all sorts. Today I have 7 different flyers for stores and a letter from a finance company. Sunday I had only 3 flyers and a magazine with a TV Guide and council news in it.

NOPE, not watching Gail, but remembering for a change. you said you spend evenings together in computer room, and if there is shooting and maiming, has to be a computer game!

Speaking of which, we haven't been getting the magazine because of where we live so we jumped in and had a read. There was a list of a couple of dozen people whose houses were being sold for unpaid rates (sort of like property taxes). The most anyone owed was about $13,000. One only owed $2500 but that was because their annual rates were only about $400. Felt criminal for people to lose their homes for what is really such a small portion of their value!!!!
