Who, what when and where?!

Gail, we all react to medications differently, don't we? It was the (for me) massive amounts of antinausea meds given in the prep, and a drug that does not really put you to sleep, but makes you forget the pain, supposedely, that got to me. took me about 2 weeks to get my mind back in gear! Plus the issues of germies in my gut also, just took time and I was most impatient !

We are all sensitive little angels aren't we?

I love the ROFL smilie, Dino! I saw that one one day when surfing for graphics, but did not save any that day. I was just window shopping I think hehehe.

Yep, Gail, we are sensetive little angels. the more I study the workings of the human body, the more amazed I am, not that there are illnesses and malfunctions of our body, but that we ever get it RIGHT! Such a complicated collection of electrical currents and chemical reactions we are! And all the information to do, to build this, stored in one tiny package, the fertalized egg at conseption. Amazing!

Dino, yes, most fortunate, I agree. but still I complaine hehehe, Wish I could do what I could once do, but slowly reconciling myself to reality and finding something to enjoy every day. Well most days, was a bit hard yesterday! Best I came up with was, well, thankful this is over. And OHH, this bed feels soooo good, as I went for a nap! hehe

hehe Well I need my bed, too. Have stoked the fire so it will keep the house warm all night and have a few dishes to wash so I can wake up to a clean kitchen. Have s wonderful day.

I leave a GOOD MORNING to Heidi and Vici and all the other topsiders who might drop in later today. and since the morning coffee pot is so far back on pages, let me freshen it some. I have been drinking a LOT, since I did not get my daily ration yesterday.

I, too am amazed that we function as well as we do so much of the time, considering the intricacies of the human bodies. It is always a miracle to me when a baby develops from divisions of one fertilized egg into the vastly complicated human body with a brain capable of creative thought!

I'm about to get dressed, have brekky, then head off to the State Fair grounds (it starts tomorrow) with my one chicken I entered. This bird is a rare bird, a 6 month old white Araucana cockerel. They are a breed developed in South America that is rumpless, with big tufts of feathers over each earhole.

Heidi, your cicken sounds exotic, I should look it up and find a photo of the breed. sounds like you have a good shot at a ribbon on that one, not a lot of competition?? Have a good day at the fair, and a safe trip! I imagine you will check up on your fishies while there also?

Got home last night around 8 pm - probably right at the time I could've really been yacking away with everyone, but was dog tired and just unpacked and went to bed.
Had a wonderful time by the pool with the family. Will post pictures on my page later today...did get a little too much sun yesterday (kinda went for broke!) and have my Aqualin (fabulous burn healing salve) slathered all over me today. Going to do final shopping for the party today and lay low. Thought I'd be busy catching up around the yard, but I am SOOOO tired today. Funny how you need a vacation after the vacation.

Dino, glad they figured out what has been ailing you. I have never seen a red sunflower. Amber and I planted sunflowers last year. They were almost as tall as me and the flowers were starting really nicely. I went outside one day and all we had were sticks. The flowerheads and all the leaves were gone. The deer ate them.

Is anyne keeping a running list of things going on for June, since she said she could never catch up once she returns? I thought if so, we could send also to Cyndi? Poor dear cannot read the board, maybe if we did this for her it would cheer her up during her times of medical problems and help her feel more included in the group. Anyone game for doing this?
