After the news story this morning about the number of Australians who are overweight or obese I calculated my BMI - 25. Which means I considered to be almost overweight, right on the border. I would like to lose a couple of kilos, but I wear size 10 jeans (size 6 US)!! That BMI calculation is TOUGH!

Suzy, years ago, the local health department was doing free fat indexes. At that time, I weighed 98 (44.5 kilo) and am 5'4" (size 2). They tried to tell me that I needed to lose weight. As I've gotten older, my weight goes up and down.

Hello everybody. This is me today... Why would I be crying you ask. Well...let me tell you. It is almost the end of June and I had to light the fire it was so cold in here. Here I thought summer had finally arrived but it was just a tease.

Becky, I have been a size 2, BLW - before leaving work. I actually went back to a size 2 (US) after my first child, but started gaining weight when I quit full time work. I can't believe they told you that you needed to lose weight at 98lb! (7 stone nothing) Size 2 would have been baggy on you! I was actually a couple of pounds heavier than that.

Rena, I've just lit my fire to warm the house up for the evening, but it is supposed to be cold here! Sending warm thoughts your way.

Had lunch at the shops with hubby (had a second meal free voucher ) And got a winter top for my daughter reduced from $80 to $56.
We will put the aircon on heat a bit later on.It is 19*c in our back room.

Oh Rena, I sure do hope it is hot when you get here, after all, it will almost be our summer.
But then, we have been known to have the fire going on Christmas Day.

Looks like I'm chasing Gail around the pages....wonder where I will find her next....

BTW... good afternoon everybody...hope you are all having a good day. Could be a bit warmer down here.
Nothing of great interest to report...lots of 'stuff' I should be doing.

Going to see 'Guys and dolls' on Sunday which I believe is very good. I love live shows. Last week we went to see 'Boeing Boeing' which was very funny. Hubby could remember seeing the film with Tony Curtis in it but I couldn't. Memory like a sieve.
Not to worry...I remember the important things in life...like getting up in the morning!

I have been busy looking up the hotels we will stay in Malaysia. Trip booked with Probus so we have just paid our money while someone else did all the bookings. Looks like a good trip. Thought I should find out a bit about what we will see etc.
