Hi! I've been enjoying the Sudoku puzzles for awhile and finally decided to join. For those who wonder, Caledonia is a small town about 45 minutes north of Columbus, Ohio in the US. Everyone here is a big fan of The Ohio State University Buckeyes.

Gday Joan and
to the zaniest place in town! Glad to have you here with us.
I've brought along a couple of page-warming gifts. A bottle of Aussie bubbly and a plate of nibblies for you to enjoy. Once you've been over to Eve's place, pop over to mine. The family's all there and the kettle's just boiled. See you around.

My FIL played for OSU - had to drop out during the depression. He was a BIG TEN fan, especially OSU (definetly a Woody Hayes fan). Being raised in So. Calif., I am/was a PAC 10 - UCLA fan and converted my husband. If his family had stayed in Ohio after he graduated and he'd gone to college, he'd have chosen Michigan (good thing he never told his dad that). He was born and raised in Cleveland. He drove his mother, sister, dog & cat to California 2 weeks after he graduated from HS to join his father. We were married 2 weeks after I graduated (5 years later) from HS. He died 12 years ago. I moved up here a year later, it was an area where we were considering retiring.
What is your daughter doing is Tanzania?

Hi Joan!
to your own page! I stopped by to bring a pot of Maryland Cream of Crab soup for you and your guests. I live near the Chesapeake Bay, home of the famous MD. blue crabs. I was born in Cleveland and lived in Columbus for a few years. Of course, I'm rooting for the Indians! Hopefully, they are World Series bound! Drop by for a visit, door's always open

to Sudoku, Joan! I am bringing you a cold beer and some of those scarlet-and-grey yogurt-covered pretzels. I live in Columbus (20 yrs) and have to admit I've never heard of Caledonia! I grew up in MD outside of Wash DC and I miss the beach! But we like it here in "the heart of it all" (I'm not really a Buckeyes fan though). I've been doing the sudoku puzzles on and off for about a year and finally joined up a few months ago. Visit my page sometime!

Hello Joan -
to Sudokuland!
Thanks for the advice. I have done it several times and it has helped tremendously! The "Do Not Call" list has been one of the best things that the government has come up with. I received this as an e-mail this week and I thought it was worth passing on!
I have left you a gallon of Michigan apple cider and a dozen warm cinnamon/sugar donuts as a housewarming gift. It is great to have you here. Please stop by for a visit any time. The door is always open.
