Hi everybody around the world!
Welcome to my page,  here in the eastern edge of the Midwest US.
Come in, make yourself comfy, have a beer (Moosehead, my favorite) or a glass of white wine and don't forget the chocolate buckeyes!  If you've never had a buckeye, let me explain:  Ohio is called the "buckeye state" and our state tree of course is the buckeye tree.  The Ohio State Buckeyes are a great college football team (although I'm not much of a fan, having grown up in Maryland).  The buckeye tree produces a nut that is round and dark brown, with a tan spot at the top.  Around here you can buy chocolate buckeye candies - with peanut butter inside!  Yum!

A little about me --  I have 3 kids, 2 cats, 1 bunny and a husband who works too much.  I work part-time during the winter/spring preparing tax returns for H&R Block, while trying to grow my website design business (Midwest Web Design -- www.MidWebDes.com) in my "spare" time, as well as a new business selling comfortable clothing for women at parties.  Great quality stuff!  New division of an old company. www.myjockeyp2p.com/lindamustric if you'd like to see the catalog.

Our son - 18, just graduated HS, daughter - 15, 10th gr, other daughter - 13, 8th gr.

Our labradoodle puppy, Rocky, is 3.

Linda,
Just dropping in from the Chicago area to say Hi and hope you are dry, a little break from the rain today but sounds like we are going to get more tomorrow - flooding not bad by my area and no rain today has helped. I'm shopping for school rings today - with the prices these days I'm almost glad my son is not involved with anyone to "lose" the ring too. Otherwise, busy doing nothing enjoy your day, Mary

Mmm, Bandit by name, bandit by nature, I'd say looking at that face!
Gday Linda, . I've brought you a bottle of bubbly, a plate of nibblies and if you like cats (or even if you don't!), pop over to my page and meet the family. Careful where you sit at the moment, the cats are moulting something shocking lately!

Good Morning Linda - to your own page in Sudokuland. I have brought you a tray of warm chocolate chip cookies as a welcome gift to share with your guests. Maybe you could put the coffee pot on and share a cup with a cold friend? We have 46 (F) again this morning.

Thank you for dropping by and visiting me. I love to get visitors. I live about an hour North of Detroit. We travel through Ohio every year when we go to Virginia. We hope to retire down there soon. We have three children still at home. The oldest has been in the working world for about a year and the other two have just started college. We are holding off to put our house on the market also. Maybe next year the economy will be a little better.

Are you new to the web site? I hope you enjoy it. There are a lot of nice people here. Have a great day and come and visit me again.

Oh yes, Rosie is my daughter's bunny. (She lost her first bunny, FuFu, a year ago this past Easter. She cried and cried. Sometimes she lets Rosie run around, but you are right. They have to be watched closely. They like to chew on electrical cords, also. Rosie loves to eat dandelions. They are a special treat for her!

Hi Linda, I like the beach too! A friend had a boat in the Solomen Island area and it was really nice! My favorite beaches are in Barbados and south of Dar es Salaam -- my daughter was living in each when I visited. I will post a couple pics from there on my site for you.

Hi Linda, thanks for the web site. The rancher in the first picture is the type of house we have. We have added a large family room and separate office/bedroom to the back of the house. I think one of the reasons Bowie made the "top" of the list is because the houses here are pretty reasonably priced for the Washington area. The cost of living here is probably one of the highest in the country because, as they say, "location, location, location!" A lot of retirees move away to find a less expensive area. I like this area. We are 15 miles away from Annapolis and 20 miles away from DC. (a short metro ride to DC, so you don't even have to drive!) Retired, yes. But no plans to move!

Hi, Linda!

Thanks for your comments on my computer glitches! Even though Windows might have changed my DST settings, the computer still moved all my icons to the far left of the screen like it does when the clock changes and, of course, the clock didn't change. So I am anxiously awaiting the REAL time change next weekend to see what happens. I may have to stay up 'til 2 am to watch!!!

Love your pix. We have friends who live on Sanibel, and I try to visit them at least once a year. Lovely place!

Cheers!
Jane

Linda! Bite your tongue! There's always tomorrow! Repeat after me, "I will make it around the world. I will make it to all the places I've wanted to visit. I love my kids but when they've left the nest, I will go to exotic places that I have dreamed of!" Be positive, you'll live longer!

Hey Linda! Just got back from the doctor, the eye doctor for the bright flashes and one floater. Evidently it's symptoms of detached retina. But I'm fine but I do have one dilated eye. Looks spooky! Think I could pass as a zombie?

I can't wait for the open house, Linda. Will it be ok if we bring the llama and elephant from the last party!
I really don't like to ask a lady's age but seeing as you invited us to take a guess, I'm gonna go with 'Naughty 40'.
Do you want us to come dressed in rainbow colours?!!!

I know I'm early Linda but

I'm just poking my head in briefly before heading off to the land of nod but I will be back in my morning!
Do you like my outfit? I made it specially for the occasion. An all-in-one catsuit reminiscent of the seventies...but it's all in RAINBOW colours!
I've brought along a dozen bottles of the finest bubbly that $5 will buy! There's also a plate of my daughter's yummy chocolate crackles (shh, she doesn't know I took them).
BTW I don't care how old you are, you obviously have a young heart.

I also brought this trampoline. I wonder.....
Have a great party!

Linda, have a great day
I rented a hot tub, hope you don't mind. It's for all the people who haven't been on a trampoline for a while.
I also brought a big platter of veggies and dip. If that elephant shows up, hide these. Last time he walked right through the dip and made a big mess.

Hope your birthday, whichever one it is, is absolutely stupendous with many, many more to follow.
I've brought some homemade fudge--chocolate and also peanut butter (so do watch out for that darn elephant!) I've also brought crackers with a cheese ball or two in different flavors. And, to go with the hot tub, I've brought a portable sauna for those overworked muscles. Enjoy.

I myself don't imbibe (terrible headaches, darn!), but I brought you some Shiner Bock from Shiner, Texas. It is supposed to be pretty good.
