Hi Kevin and welcome to Sudokuland. We are back from our trip away and have had a look through the Sudoku and Jigsaw comments. I spotted your question in the Jigsaw pages and can now answer. But first, which Gloster aircraft are you talking about?
And under which circumstances did you fly a Gloster?

Hello Kevin - thanks for visiting my page.
I did know there was at least one or two Albanys in USA. A toilet paper town??? I'm not familiar with Proctor and Gamble, what or who are they? Makers of toilet paper? and what is a Charmin plant? I'm really showing my ignorance, aren't I?
As to the puzzles; when I do easy and medium I just get straight in and do them, when I do hard and tough I use the option of possibilities. Partly because I don't always have the time and with tough I don't think I'd get it out without a bit of help or a lot of time.
I hope all is well with you and your family.
Regards,
Anne

P.S. You can add me to your friends list if you like although I don't use that facility very often unless I want to go to someone's page and it just makes it easier.

Kevin, The camera I have used for several years is a Konica Minolta Dimage Z2, it is a nice camera. Hubby bought me a better camera but I am still learning to use it properly. By the way to the puzzles, do you also play Sudoku? Have a good day.

Happy New Year to All.

I hope every one of Vici's charges get adopted.

I am living 180 miles away from home for work purposes and I can't have pets which makes me sad. However every one of our five dogs and four cats have been adopted or came from the shelter.

Unfortunately one of the cats was able to push back the top of the terrarium and ate the chameleon and the Iguana got sick. We also got to keep son's grammar school Ferret some weekends, but she was scared to death of the dogs and cats. What a zoo.

Hi Kevin,

I live about 40 miles south of Palisades Park. I don't recall knowing anyone from that area. However, I do recall when the amusement park was still in operation there. That was in the 1960s.

Sorry to hear about your friend.

Joe

Texarkana on the boarder of Texas & Arkansas, on the road from Dallas to Memphis!
The New Zealand Maori is Polynesian & related to the Hawaiians - they toured the world in canoes. The original Australians are a different race altogether. They stayed put after they migrated from the north -New Guinea, when there was still land between New Guinea & Gondwanaland (now Australia). They looked after the land, moved around so they didn't damage the environment. They were the custodians before the British arrived. But the British were not the first Europeans - the Dutch came in 1606...

But there could have been earlier explorers!

Hi Kevin - answered your question about the cannon on the Island of Fort Denison today, but thought you might not see it, so here is a copy & paste!!!
No Kevin, but thanks for the question!
That canon was in Victoria, Port Fairy on the Great Ocean Road! This cannon on Fort Denison ( a small island in Sydney Harbour) isn't as big as those ones. But the cannon is there for the same reason as the Port Fairy ones - There was fear that the Russians &/or the French would invade!!!
