Wonderful weather here in the Chicago area and our Ribfest starts tomorrow - along with Lisle's Eyes to the Skies - the hot air balloon will be launching tomorrow morning and they travel past my house - enjoy the 4th of July weekend - Mary

I hope you read this very late post.
I have been suckered by cats worse than you.
Had 2 when I was twisted into taming and capturing a kitten born inside a gated work location and what I presumed was the mother and 9 days later she had 3 kittens. Found homes for the babies and took the mother to a shelter because of personality conflicts. Was back to 2 again when I ended up bringing home another little one from another fenced work site.
Was still at 3 when Mama Cass and her 5 showed up across the street. Brought first 2 tamest ones in after a few months and after losing 2 of the older ones had the rest tame enough to bring in. That makes 7 inside as of 2006. Late spring 2009 another shows and then a little one outside. The big one was already neutered by a neighbor who does a lot of Trap, Neuter, Release so I had the little guy nuked and when not hot out I shut them in the garage at night and always feed and water.

When I get to where I am free to travel again I will try to vistit your areas.
Would love to check out the Ribfest and am an admitted chocoholic. Wish the Canada pavilion at Epcot had the beavertail so I could check it out sooner.

Hi Jeanine ... hope you are enjoying the site. I am a fellow cat lover; I am "down" to 7 cats at the moment - all of them rescues or children of rescues.

Jeanine - haven't seen Millenium. The latest Netflix to our house included an early season Monk episode with an earthquake, so I was thinking about earthquakes. What general area of Florida do you call home?
