Just dropping in to say hello, Bill, and I've brought along some Niagara ice wine for you to share with others for dessert. Read about how you lost your 16-year-old dog and that understandably you still think of him when you go for walks. Our 13-year-old, indoor cat, Watson, escaped from our house a few years back (we were having an appliance delivered and out he went). We searched for six months, went to the animal shelter every other day, put flyers in everyone's mailboxes within a ten-block radius, but we never saw him again. I still catch myself scrutinizing people's windows as I walk through the neighbourhood, wondering if someone took him in. What great companions our pets are.

Hi again, Bill. We're in Hamilton. We ski in Ellicottville, New York, just south of Buffalo, every winter. And one of our favourite restaurants, Stoneboats, is in Bronte (technically a part of Oakville, I think).

I haven't seen you on the site for a long time.
I just read your comment about going to a town about 2hrs north of Bergen. I stayed in a cabin near Songdal in the Fiord area and went for daily drives with friends from England. We took a trip on the Flam railway.
I'm sure you will have a wonderful time.

Hello Bill. I see you are still around! My daughter & granddaughter were just in Gainesville for the day yesterday to meet with a UF counselor. Grandie Eden is just a junior in high school, but has her sights set on attending UF. Her mom & dad both graduated from there in 1996, just months before she was born! Have a good weekend. Go Gators (and Wolverines!).
