Jan! Welcome to the world of Sudoku! I'm leaving some crabcakes and fresh Georgia peaches. Unfortunately, the crabcakes are from last fall (frozen, of course) since we haven't caught any crabs yet this year. It seems that because of the drought there is too much saline in the water at the village fishing pier where we go crabbing, and so the little critters are staying upstream in the rivers where the water is more to their liking. I am also leaving a vase of gardenias - the last from my garden!

Jan, thanks for visiting my page. East coast of FL is lovely. I have a daughter living in Melbourne. Were you living there duting 2004 and the hurricanes? Did you have to evacuate? I know that has to be scarry. I remember one of them made it up to Central Alabama as a Cat 1 inland hurricane, and those 90 mph winds for 24 hours were no fun! We had a strong storm shelter and did not have to evacuate. There was a lot of damage to Trees and barns and such even this far inland.

Hi Jan! Schultz is a cross Shepherd, Lab, Australian Red Cattle Dog (definitely) with, we think, a bit of bull mastiff. He's been over 45kgs all his life (battled to keep him under 50 actually) and only less now due to advanced age. We think the secrets to his longevity include being of a laid back disposition, much loved of course, an inside dog all his life (rarer for the big ones), and good teeth ...
