Hi Amelia, nice to hear from you,I'm a bit new to all this technology,(i'm a bit of an old technophobe i'm afraid).
A gay couple came home after a night out to find that they'd locked themselves out. They had a look round and saw that one of the upstairs bedroom windows was open,so Cedric said to Cyril,'I'll get the ladder from the garage and one of us can climd in the window.'Off he went and came back a few minutes later with a ladder. They put the ladder up to the window, and after drawing straws it was decided that Cyril should climb up.
Half way up the ladder Cyril looked down and said,'Ooh,Cedric,i feel like a fireman.'
Cedric answered,'So do i,but we'll never find one at this time of night.'

Hi Andre,Greg & Deb,thanks for the welcome.I've been reading comments and jokes from all of you for a couple of months now.
Here's a little bit about myself.Although i live in Lancashire,England now i am originally from a Fife,Scotland, mining village by the name of High Valleyfield.I served my time as an electrical engineering apprentice in the local coal mine, but left there in 1964 and moved to Lancashire where my first wife came from.I joined the Fire Service that same year and served 30 years, retiring in 1994.Since 1995 i have worked at Blackburn College as a commissionaire/receptionist.I will be retiring again, this time for good,in March next year, wheni will be 65.
I have three children,Neil 42,Fiona 39 and baby Craig 36,by my first wife, and three step chidren by Barbara,my second(and last)wife.Between us we have nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.The grandkids range from 6-21 and Emma-Louise is just gone 2 years old.
Again, thanks to all of you for the welcome, the chocolates, flowers double chocolate fudge pastry(how did you know i had a sweet tooth)and the whiskey.Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

hanks for the visit Jim. You have quite the family, and quite the history, being able to retire twice! I grew up in Sault Ste. Marie, Subury's arch rival in junior ice hockey. I assume you have kin still involved in the nickle mines? Anyway, you should get over to Canada for a visit. Great country here to see and visit! Cheers!

Hello Jim, I only just realised you were a supporting member with your own page.
to the S.M. Club.
Here's a bottle of Goundry's unwooded Chardonnay for you and
for Barbara. It's nice to see a family like yours surviving all the pressures that go with split families. I know from experience. Well done, you must be very special people.

Hi Jim, I also love your jokes. Brought a bottle of Evans & Tate Clasic White for you (my favourite from the Margaret River in WA).
If you get sick of the cold - jut come visit in Qld where the sun shines a lot (Why won't it ever bloody rain?). The pools full and the beer is on ice.
Have a great Christmas with your family. Best wishes to you for 2007 and your iminent retirement.

Hi Jim. 2007 is around the corner. A whole new year coming up, and so much will happen during this coming year. I do hope that you and yours enjoy peace, happiness, good times, (chocolate for those of you who indulge), and should there be some sorrow that befalls you, I do hope you weather it well and stay strong and positive. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hello Jim. We've been missing you and hope everything is well with you and yours. Enjoyed the photo of Maggie a few weeks back. Do you still take her for walks? (I have a BC, Max, who is very overweight altho he rushes about a lot chasing geese etc. He has a mania for shaking hands.) And when is it you finally retire? Must be a matter of weeks now? Hope you'll be back soon to cheer us all up. All the best, giblet.

Hi Jim
Thanks for the message. I really make the posts about the Pars as a bit of a joke as I didn't expect anyone to know what I was talking about. Now the daylight saving has changed both here and there, I usually sit up at midnight and watch the posts on the DAFC website. I don't want to get ahead of myself but I am really looking forward to the possibility of the Pars return to the Premier League as a lot of the matches are on pay TV. At present I only see them when they progress in the FA Cup. My family come from Rosyth and my grandfather (David Crawford) played for Dunfermline about 100 years ago. They came to Australia in 1913. He married a Janet Selkirk. He was one of 12 and I understand from a cousin who has studied the geneology that we have a lot of relatives still there. I've never visited but my son is about to go to the UK with a cricket playing mate who is playing for Southampton in whichever league they play in and has promised me he will go to a Pars match in August if they get back into the Premier League.

Hi Jim
Great to get your note. We sat up last night to watch the wedding and tonight I'll sit up and watch the website for the updates from the game. Hopefully the Pars will win or Raith won't either of which reults will put the Pars up. My grandfather was still alive when DA won the FA cup (was it '65)and we were most excited. Of course we had to wait for the Monday papers to find out.
Best Wishes
David

A good result. Unbelievably, it was telecast on Setanta Sports in Australia at 4.30am our time. Got up and had a look at last bit. Recorded the whole match and will watch it tonight. My son leaves for the UK next week.
