Hi Sarah, Thanks for the kind words re my photo gallery. Since my kidneys went on holidays I haven't been out and about as much, but I have just finished a set-up to do tracked night photography which will enable me to do it from my yard.
Your town is going to be full of crazies for the next few days so bunker down and stay safe.

Hi Sarah
I'm not sure if this is how / where I respond to your quiz today. Apologies if I've got this wrong. My four words, in an Australian accent, are: tough, though, through, thought.
Thanks for the challenge
Megan

for the thoughtful birthday wishes, Sarah! I appreciate that we have been able to remain in touch.
One request for you ... since you live in DC, could you please straighten things out there?
Love,
Judy

Yes, Judy, right away! Thanks for the reminder! Don't I wish I could just go the Senate and bop two people in the head and tell them to straighten up and vote left!

Hi Sarah, BUG stands for 'Bi-value Universal Grave'. Meaning: if all the cells only have 2 possibilities, and there is no obvious next move, that would suggest there are 2 solutions, which is a no-no. In puzzle Sept. 17, c8=478, and is the only cell that is not bi-value. If c8=48, there would be at least 2 solutions in the top left box. And because there are only 2 possibilities for all the other cells in the grid, the whole puzzle would have more than one solution. So c8= 7.
Best Regards, Alfred.
