Hey Maureen, can you believe it, still eating cake!
A homemade Tiramisu cake that my daughters and I made together, then my daughter, Hannah's icecream cake that she made for her birthday the following day! This morning I had a sliver of my cake for brekky, then a slice of Hannah's cake tonight for a late night snack...never want to eat again!

Also interested reading comments today about this site. When I joined in 2007, I had not looked below the puzzles each day & wasn't aware that people were making comments, until I think it was Gail suggested I join chat on easy page.
Don't find time to get here as much now as when I first joined, but realised about 15minutes ago that my b'day would be posted on here & thought I had better find time to say thanks to anyone who has sent me wishes. I will try to say a personal thank you if I find more time later.

Gday Maureen, you are right, the site is not the same as it was, but many lasting friendships have been formed. The Melbourne mob meet up quite often, I really hope you can join us sometime soon.
As for FB, I also have an acct, and I am sorry to say I use it all the time! It's great for keeping in touch with family members who are scattered far and wide. We found that a lot of members of this site were over there too, so a page called Sudoku Friends was formed so we still keep in touch that way.
